"Hey, Acid!" I yelled at the green seeker who was flying around in his alt mode. The gray clouds moved slowly across the sky. I felt the harsh storm winds smack me as I yelled out for my friend.
<huh?> I received his comm, then tried pointing to the clouds that were moving faster than before.
In a heartbeat, he was back on the ground and inside.
Meanwhile, I stayed outside, enjoying stormy weather.
Loud booms of thunder echoed around me and I was quickly buried with warm rain. I missed this kind of weather. It was always my favorite when stealing cars. I sighed softly and started at the dark purple clouds, watching them light up with bright lightning. I thought I stood alone, when I heard the familiar sound of metal shifting and gears turning and clicking into place. I looked to where the noise came from and saw Barricade in his beautiful alt mode.
"Oh, hey. Didn't see you there. What's up?" I broke the awkward silence, but received no such reply from the car.
I directed my gaze up to the sky, once again looking at the clouds. I saw a flash of red and blue coming from the corner of my eye, then saw Barricade with his lights on.
The lights reflecting onto the wet pavement looked beautiful. So shiny. It really began to remind me of my old job. Hearing distant police cars in this weather, seeing the pretty lights light up the road as the cars drove by to their destinations.
I hadn't realized how long I was looking at Barricade for. He brought back so many memories.
"Sometimes, I miss my old job. Maybe not the exact job I had, but the thrill of stealing cars for money...I miss that." I admitted softly.
"Your better off as a Decepticon. Your old boss hates you, you had to live off of stealing to pay rent, and your old house sucks."
I stared at the mustang in shock.
"You haven't even been to my house! Well... that I know of." I said in defense.
Barricade let out a rumble of laughter.
"I'm not here to talk about your poor living before you met me. I'm here to ask if you wanted to go for a drive, fleshbag." Barricade said.
I looked back up for a few seconds and back at him.
"In this weather?"
"Why not?"
I smiled gently and ran to his passenger door and went in.
"Someone's excited." Barricade chuckled. I scoffed, then saw him turn his holoform on. I stared at him.
"Stop that."
I quickly looked away.
"Not my fault you're so fun to stare at. " I mumbled.
The drive went like that. Nice stormy weather, lights on, he even turned the sirens on for me.
