I nervously sat on my bed, then saw Barricade walk back from an energon mission.
"Hey um,... I have a stupid question... did you... make sure not to get me 'sparked' as your kind would say?" Barricade chuckled softly.
"I made sure." I smiled and reached out to the large bot.
"What?" He asked.
"Pick me up!" I grinned.
He sighed and picked me up, then we both headed outside.
"Where are we go-" before I could finish asking my question, a large mech crash landed into Barricade and I. Barricade grunted and tried to protect me from falling, but I fell off his shoulders anyway. I hit my head hard on the pavement, hearing my heart beat hard and fast. I put a hand to my head and looked at it, seeing crimson liquid splattered on the ground and on my hand. I tried to keep myself awake, but passed out.

"Y/n..."

"Look what you've done!!"

"Me?!"

Everything was pulsing, vibrating, and screaming.

"Wake up!!" I whimpered and gasped, then saw straps all over my body. I had a strap on my forehead, torso, legs and arms. All connecting to a table with blood and energon splattered on it. I all could hear was my heavy breathing and my beating heart. The room was dark except for a bright light above me. I saw blurry, tall figures staring at me, muttering muffled words to either each other or me, I'm not sure. I saw a tool in their servos, a saw. They powered it on, causing a wave of blur wash over my already blurry vision. I coughed and saw bright blue blood spray from my mouth. I felt the sharp blade cut into my chest, then my vision pulsed.
My chest was revealed, showing my insides, my beating heart.

Pulse

They took out my heart.

Pulse

They replaced it with a glowing orb.

Pulse.

I hear voices...

"Y/n!!" I woke up, gasping for breath.
"Easy, easy... you took a lot of damage when you fell. You damaged your hearing, so we had to take precautions..." Starscream, who I am guessing helped me, showed me a mirror and I gasped. It was just like my dream. I had two spiky audials on my ears, or, where my ears would have been. I saw that there was bright blue blood, or, energon, on my face and my head was shaved slightly above my ears.
"You..." my voice was rough and gravelly.
"We had to," Starscream explained, "or you would have been deaf." I nodded slowly.
"We.. had to exchange your blood, as well. You now only have energon...which mean you can only feed on energon." I nodded and felt a tinge of pain in my left eye. I groaned and held in as I bent my head down.
"My.. my eye," Starscream frowned.
"You may suffer headaches from the procedure, just rest and you'll be okay."
I laid my head onto the pillow. My eye didn't feel right. It didn't feel like a headache.
"Rest, Y/n... you need it." I closed my eyes and fell asleep with Starscream watching over me.
