My gaze shifted back and forth like wave coming to the shore, then brought back out to sea.

To the floor, to the man in front of me.

"Barricade!" I yelled.

He flinched at my sudden voice.

"What's your problem?" He asked me. I growled and pointed to the hair on the floor that appeared when Barricade was cutting his hair.

"Clean it up!! I'm going to end up slipping on it and breaking my leg!" Barricade grumbled in annoyance and suddenly grabbed my wrists and pushed me against the wall.

"No." Barricade said simply.

I looked up at him, staring into his eyes that looked back down at me.

Barricade growled with a smirk on his face, noticing how pink my cheeks have gotten.

He removed me from the bathroom and onto the bed, climbing over me.

"'C-Cade-" I attempted to slow him down from whatever we were about to do.

"Yes, princess?" Barricade's voice was low, and it sounded amazing.

Before I could talk, Barricade was already kissing me. I gently pushed him away and blushed.

"I appreciate your, uh, attempt, but we have to leave for our job." Barricade grumbled and flopped forward. He looked like a toddler throwing a fit for being denied candy at a store.

"Don't you love me, Y/n?" He squeaked.

It was my turn to grumble, this time.

"Come on! Get off your lazy aft!!" I pulled him up and gasped when he kissed my neck.

"BARRICADE!"

He chuckled, then yelped when I grabbed a taser. He got up and ran while I threatened to tase him.

He effectively packed up our stuff and ran out, me following close behind until he was out in the parking lot.

"Primus, Y/n, why'd you have to nearly tase me?" Barricade whined as he transformed into his alt mode.

"You're so whiny today."

"What are you talking about?"

The conversation went on for half the trip before we stopped at an inn for the evening.
