Art by me!

The lights of the skyscrapers filled the streets of Chicago as I walked down the streets. I stayed close to the sketchy areas, knowing someone, specifically an Autobot, may be lurking. I thought I saw an Autobot moving around, so I curiously went over to the alleyway to investigate.

I tensed up when I felt a hand touch my shoulder and turn me around.

"Well, it's been a while since we've had such a beauty come across here,.." I saw two guys who were older than me, they stared. One of them grabbed my bag and pushed me to the ground. I let out a yelp of pain and tried to reach for my bag.

"What goodies could you own..." They both began to go through my bag, finding nothing important to them. I had mainly work documents and pens in there. I then struggled to move when the other one grabbed a little bag out from my belt. The bag was clipped onto my belt for safety reasons.

"Give that back!" I yelled. They went through it and smiled as they found some cash. I screamed out in pain as I felt one grab me and dig their nails into my skin. Just as they were about to take the money, red and blue lights began to flash around as loud sirens echoed around. The guys left the scene and I fell onto the ground and held my bleeding arms. The police car that scared off the guys drove up to me and transforms. I saw Barricade. The flashing lights replayed in my head over and over again, and I was picked up gently. Barricade looked me over.

"Who were those people?" He asked.

He seemed overly annoyed and angry.

"I'm not sure...city criminals?" Barricade gave me a soft expression and gently placed me down. He switched quickly to his holoform and forcefully grabbed my arms.

"You're bleeding."

"Wow, really?" I replied. He smiled at my tone and gently rubbed his thumbs over the blood, smearing it. I winced slightly and he grabbed two bandages and placed them on the wounds. I smiled and pecked his cheek, making his cheeks fluster slightly. He smiled slightly and carefully moved me inside the police car. I laid in the backseat and gazed up at Barricade, who was gazing back at me. He crawled in and gently kissed my forehead before stepping out and getting onto the driver's seat. I kept my wet eyes on the ceiling and wiped them.

"I promise to recover everything that was stolen/broken." I smiled a bit.

"Thanks..."
