I woke up and saw that the light was on.
'Barricade must be up'
I groaned and held my head. I felt my head pulsing in pain and I realized how dizzy I felt. I glanced around the room and saw the mech himself.
"B-..Barricade,..." I got the police mech's attention and he looked curious.
"You look pale." He told me. I nodded.
"I feel pale... I feel sick." He sighed.
"Humans also have a very low health rate... Cybertronian rates are very high. We don't have many illnesses to worry about." I sighed and rolled to face Barricade. He faced me with his blue and red optics and got close to me. He gently placed his servo on my bed.
"I suggest you speak to Lord Megatron about taking today off. You will need to take care of yourself." I sighed and covered my face. Barricade felt a twinge in his spark and he shut the lights off for me.
"If it will be of any aid... I could report this to Lord Megatron." I smiled at Barricade and brought him close to me.
"Thanks, Barricade," I hugged his servo and he tensed up.
"Um,... sure. Anything for my new partner." He gave me a friendly smile, the nicest thing I've seen him do. I blushed at it and he looked confused.
"Do you have rising body temperatures? Your face is red." I scoffed.
"Well, can't you scan me or something?" He rolled his optics and scanned me.
"You don't have a fever... as humans say." I pulled his servo closer to me and he looked at me intently.
"What are you doing, Y/n?"
"Your hand is comfy..." he let out a small chuckle and laid on his bed, laying next to me.
"How about you try to rest. I've heard rest is great for sickly humans." I looked at Barricade in shock.
"Are you..laying because you want to stay with me?"
"What? No. I'm tired and need to recharge. And so do you." He let his optics close and I sighed.
"What about Lord Megatron?" I asked.
"I'll explain everything to him later. Just rest." I smiled and nuzzled Barricade's chassis, feeling him tense up greatly.
"Night, Barricade." I whispered. I didn't hear a reply from the large bot, so I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke up and felt great. I saw a large mech towering over me and I bit my lip.
"Lord Megatron..." I said quietly.
"Y/n.. I trust you are fully recovered from your illness?" I smiled.
"I am, thank you for asking."
"If you're up for it, I have a mission for you and Barricade," he started.
I adjusted my blankets and sighed.
"Sure. I can sleep in his alt mode." I thought I heard a small chuckle of amusement leave him.
"Excellent. Barricade already knows the plans, I am sure he can tell you them. He's waiting outside." I smiled and went to Barricade, and he opened the back door for me. I climbed onto the back seats and laid down.
"You're not sick still, are you?" I looked at the radio.
"No, I'm just tired." I yawned. He let out a small sigh.
"Sleep if you must." I smiled and cuddled close to the seat and felt the seatbelt snake around me slowly, then buckled. I blushed slightly and heard a soft sigh before the seatbelt hugged me gently.
"Are humans normally this clingy?" I heard Barricade ask. I hummed softly in reply.
"Some are, I just like how comfy the seats are." Barricade heated up slightly and chuckled quietly.
