~3 weeks later~

I felt extremely sore from both the crash and the new stomach. I asked Lord Megatron if I could take some days off to recover, and he thankfully said yes.
Currently, I sat on my bed holding my stomach. Many thoughts began to flood my mind as I stared deeper at the wound.
My whole life is different now.
How will I eat normal foods?
CAN I eat normal foods?
How do I drink things?
How does this stomach work?
Am I taking too much time off?
How can I go so long without eating?
I was dragged out of my thoughts when I heard the door close. I saw the back of Barricade and couldn't help but stare at his broad shoulder, then found my eyes trailing down his form. My gaze quickly went back up when he turned around and saw me.
"You look unsatisfied."
I sighed and nodded. I held my head up with a hand resting on my chin and I bit my lip.
"I've just been thinking," I told him. He leaned on the wall.
"Of?"
I laid down and stared at the ceiling.
"I feel like I'm sort of being lazy. I've only been on one mission and I could hardly handle that because of the temperature. What if I get fired?!" I sat up when I heard a soft chuckle leave Barricade.
"In the DPF, you do not get fired. You get punished. Believe me, I'm sure Lord Megatron is quite happy with you. You're the only human being that he appreciates." His words made me smile.
"Really?" He nodded.
I thought about something that has been killing me for a while.
"Hey, Barricade...?" I started.
"Yes, tiny human?"
I breathed in deeply before speaking to the large robot.
"So... imagine if you had a human version of yourself. Would you want that? It would be easier to um... hang out...?" The police bot looked at me weirdly.
"Are you requesting that I become a fleshling for you? They're called holoforms, you uncultured fleshbag." I flinched at his words and sheepishly grinned.
"Oh... do you have one?"
He sighed and rolled his optics before staring ahead and suddenly I saw a young man in front of me. He had blue, spiked hair, red, sharp eyes, soft lips. He was wearing a combat-styled police uniform with short sleeves and had fair-sized muscles. I stared at the sight as I felt my cheeks grow warm. He had a buckle strapped around his upper thigh, and some armor-like pads on his thighs. He held gun holsters on a buckle belt. My gaze went back up to his face and I noticed sharp teeth. He was smiling. I kept my eyes on him and he smirked.
"You've been staring at me for two minutes. Stop it."
I looked away.
"So,... do you transform into an attractive dude often?" He tenses up.
"Actually, no. I don't. Why ask?" He cheeks were tinted red ever so slightly. I breathed in deeply let out a sigh.
"I'm trying to give you a hint,"
"Hint? Why do I need a hint?"
I kept myself from yelling at him.
"You... you aren't aware, are you? That I... never mind."
Barricade gave me a strange look and crossed his arms while propping on leg on the wall and leaned on it.

"Sure... Hey, want to go for a drive?" His question caught me off guard.

"I would, but wouldn't Lord Megatron believe I'm skipping work?"

Barricade gave me a smile and held out his gloved hand for me to take. I hesitantly grabbed his hand, noticing the fingerless biker gloves that had 'punish' and 'enslave' on them. He pulled me close and began walking down the hallway.

"How could we- ... wait how is your alt mode... I'm confused." There, in front of me, stood Barricade's alt mode. He gave me a smirk and opened the passenger door for me. I smiled at him and got inside the mustang, then watched as he sat in the driver's seat.

~

We've been driving all evening, now going into night. My excitement from before died down and was soon replaced with a frown.

"What's wrong now?" He asked sarcastically. I sighed as he parked.

"I feel like I've been putting off my duties. I've been healing for weeks now! Doing nothing but laying around. I want to know why Lord Megatron has yet to yell at me." I hugged myself and brought my knees to my chest. I saw Barricade's expression change slightly. He rolled his eyes.

"You realize he cares about you and you should accept this? He doesn't like anybody. Especially humans."

I brought my head down.

"But then why do you have a holoform?"

He smiled.

"When Cybertronians are created, they are all created with the option to have a holoform. Mainly Autobots have these because they need to connect better with their human companions. I specifically chose to have a holoform due to the fact that I can battle easier in some situations."

I found myself smiling at Barricade and he smiled back. I inched closer to him and gently placed my head on his chest. To my surprise, he did not resist. He slowly held me closer and I grinned.

"Barricade?"

"Yes?"

"With my new stomach, does this mean I am technically a cyborg?" He chuckled.

"If you really want to think that, yes."
