Chapter Four

Half an hour later, I was sitting in a dark blue BMW, drumming my fingers on the dashboard. The song that was playing is Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood. I loved this song.

"You listen to The Neighbourhood?"

"Not a lot, I just love this song."

"So, how many times do you go to the beach?"

"What?"

"That was me asking do you come here often."

I could feel my face starting to go a beetroot colour. Again.

"No, I hate the beach."

"Why did you come then?"

That's what I was asking myself.
I decided to just ignore him. If things go wrong, just ignore it until it goes away. That was my motto.
After a few minutes, Hunter spoke again.

"So why do you hate the beach?"

Did he always ask so many questions?

"I hate how the sand gets everywhere; in your clothes, water bottle, books. I hate how someone always kicks sand in your face. I hate how the ocean always has little plasters and other nasty stuff floating around."

"Okay, I get it. You hate everything about the beach."

"Hey, you asked, not me. Do you always ask this many questions?"

"Not really, I just like finding out more about you."

Then, a bright sparkling ocean came into view, as Hunter parked into a space. I start taking deep breaths, mentally preparing myself for the beach.

"Do you really hate the beach this much?"

"Yes."

"We can always go somewhere els-"

"No, I'll be fine."

I take a few more breaths, then step out of the car.

Hunter does the same, flexing his muscles while doing so.
Gosh, he was hot.

"So you ready to go?"

I turn my head back to the ocean, and feel my stomach lurch.
"Well, now that you mention it, I don't think I am. Let's just go back."

"I don't think so."

With that, he swooped in and picked me up, bridal style, and ran with me down the steps. Towards the looming ocean.

"Hunter, no! Put me down now! Now Hunter!!"

By now, we were just at the edge of the ocean.
Then I knew what he was going to do.

"No. Hunter, please put me down." I tried to reason with him.

Then, I was lifted high in the air, and fell back down with a splash. I instantly felt freezing.
I wasn't wearing much, and it was a cold day.

"Your going to pay!"

"Oh yeah? Come and get me, Flores."
Oh, that was it!
I run out, and start chasing him around, kicking sand everywhere as I did. I didn't even notice the sand going in my clothes, my hair.

A shooting pain ran up my foot and leg, sending a gasp from me.

"India!"
I see Hunter turn and speed towards me, a look of panic spreading across his face.

"Sit down. What happened?"

"I don't know", I say, sitting down on the hot sand.

I look at my foot and start feeling queasy.

Hunter let out a low whistle.

"Oh gosh. You've got a lot of glass in your foot."

I turn behind me, and see a broken bottle I hadn't noticed before.

"We have to take you to a hospital."

"We can't!"
I couldn't go in another hospital. I couldn't!

"Why not?!"

I scramble for an excuse.

"My mum, will find out we missed school to go to the beach. She'll kill me."

"India, that's not a good enough excuse. I'm taking you to the hospital now!"

With a sigh, I slowly nod my head, dreading having to step into another hospital.

Hey Guys! Another update
*happy dance*

So what will happen? Why does India hate hospitals so much?
No one knows.
(Except me)

A longer chapter I hope, again this on my phone so I have no idea.

Please keep on voting and commenting, I love reading them!
Song on the side is Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood. I love it, and it's what Hunter and India listen to in the car.

Bye Peeps,
