Nothing Beats A Yo Mama Joke

The hallway was bustling with people, all pushing and shoving to get to their lessons or lockers. I shoved past a tall boy who I thought was in my last class. After reaching my locker, I threw all my books in, and tried to remember which lesson I had next, so I could grab the book. Most days I kept my books in my bag, but I didn't feel like lugging around four massive textbooks.

"Hey Flores." I didn't have to turn around to know who it was. Hunter. Though it had only been a few days since I last saw him, it felt like eons.

"It's India, Hunter. Not Flores. I swear next time you call me that I will..."
I trailed off, having not thought of a threat.
I hated to admit it to myself, but I kind of like it when he calls me Flores. It makes me think he cares enough to give me a nickname.

"See, no threat. You would never hurt me."
Hunter gave me a cute smirk, that made me blush.
I playfully punched his arm.

"Oww!"
He put on a wounded look, and started rubbing his shoulder.
I had really hurt him.

"Hunter, I'm so so-"
I began.

"Fooled ya!"
He pulled his arm away from his shoulder and laughed his amazing laugh.

"That was so not funny."
I knew I sounded whiny, but right then I didn't care.
I was really worried I had hurt him!

He was still laughing.
"It so was. Your face though- 'Hunter, I'm so so-' Priceless!"

I was about to come up with a witty, funny comeback. Probulary something to do with his mum. Nothing beats a yo mama joke.
But I was rudely interrupted. By her.
"Aww, you guys are so adorable! Oops. Did I interrupt something?"
A sweet smile was placed on mouth, obviously fake. I hoped Hunter didn't buy it. One glance at his face told me he didn't. His features looked almost as fake as hers, and he had the same fake smile as she did.
"Nope Kaitlyn. Nothing at all."
He said, almost wearily.

"I hope you guys don't mind, but as soon as I found out you guys were a couple I just had to tell someone. Just one friend. But it seems like she just couldn't keep her mouth shut. I'm so sorry, but it seems that everyone now seems to know."
The smile was replaced with a smirk. And not a Hunter smirk, a evil, manipulative smirk I had seen her use many times on unsuspecting victims.

I opened my mouth to tell her just what I thought of her and her accidental telling, but Hunter beat me to it.

"No Kaitlyn, I'm completely fine with people knowing.
What's the point of being in a relationship if you keep it secret right? You really did us a favour."
I was almost grinning from ear to ear when I saw the smirk drop of her face.
I bet that put a hole in her little plan.
Well it also put a hole in mine, people weren't supposed to know we were dating, even if it was only fake. I like not being noticed.

"Now India, where were we? Oh yeah."

Hunter swooped down, and grabbed my face, pulling me to him and kissing me. It was a soft and sweet one, and it was magical.
I think I found something I like almost as much as reading. Kissing Hunter.

"Hunter!"
A bell-like voice rang.
Hunter pulled away and stared at the girl. He didn't seem surprised to see her, almost as if he knew she was there.

Kaitlyn had already disappeared.

I turned my attention back to the girl and studied her. And she annoyed me.
She was very pretty, with long honey coloured curls and deep brown eyes. She was quite small and petite, but looked like she could be quite fierce.

That wasn't what annoyed me about her.

It wasn't her beauty, or petiteness.

It was the fact that she was looking at him with the utmost devotion and love.

And he was looking at her the same way.

And guess what?

Yep, to find our what happens, you can either guess or wait till Thursday.

And yes, there will be another chapter today, but it will not be the one for this.

Instead, it will be what Hunter thought of when he heard India told Kaitlyn they were dating.

Also! When we do get to the next chapter, Zara will be in it! I can't wait to write with her in it, as I find her so funny and cool and gothic.
She is basically all my friends rolled into one person!

So. We haven't yet seen much of this new girl. She seems to know Hunter, and he seems to know her.
I want an actress for her, so who shall she be played by.
Give me suggestions and I may use that one as the actress.

As when this will be posted it will be Wednesday, you will get the the next chapter in Hunter's POV tomorrow.

So, the girl has only just been planned in. It may seem unorganised for a writer to not know where her plot is going, but I like to write what I want to write about. While I may have a basic idea in my head, I do just write whatever comes into my head first.
So sorry if the story seems all over the place or if it has some plot holes. Just tell me and I'll try to fix them.

Okay, this Authors Note has gone on long enough.
