After school, Zara had to go home, as her dad was taking her out for a meal.
I flopped down on my bed, and sighed. So many questions were whirring through my brain, and they couldn't be silenced.
'Does Hunter like me?'
'Does Hunter like McKenzie?'
'Why am I getting so worked up about it?'
And the question that bothered me the most, the one I fought hard to keep my brain from thinking about.
'Do I like Hunter?'
To try and distract myself, I grab my phone and my headphones, and play shuffle.
I grab the book on my bedside table, well it wasn't really a book. It was a manga, called Vampire Knight.
I loved the series so had tried the books.
I opened it to my page, and instantly lost myself in a world with Zero, Kaname and Yuki.
The best part about the manga, was that I had to concentrate on reading from right to left, instead of left to right, leaving no room for distracting and worrying questions.
After 10 minutes of reading, I hear a knock at my door.
It's my mum, holding a tray of food that smelled delicious.
My mum rarely cooked, but when she did it was amazing.
So when she did cook, it meant she wanted something.
"Hi mum." I said warily, excited for the food, but worried about what she wanted to ask me.
The last time she cooked, she wanted me to go shopping for her, as she hated shopping.
I didn't mind it, but I would have preferred to stay in.
"Hey Ind. I made your favourite, enchiladas." She said, walking further into the room.
Okay, so cooked food, and it's my favourite? This has got to be something quite big she wanted me to do.
I was even more worried now.
"So, um, Ind, on Saturday your cousins are supposed to be coming over, and I was supposed to be looking after them." She started.
I nod, not sure where she was going with this.
"Well, I made plans that Saturday, and I had forgotten when I agreed to look after them. I would have cancelled, but it's really important, and your Aunt has already made plans. So I was wondering if you would be able to look after them for me?"
I look at my mum likes she's crazy.
You see, my cousins are seven years old, one boy and one girl, and they never listen. Not to me, not to their mum not to anyone. They are messy and loud and annoying, and I tend to avoid them when they come over. I also never allow them near my books, because last time Alfie managed to tear the pages out of four of them, and get spaghetti stains on them.
It was a very sad time for me.
"Please Ind," my mum pleaded,"I really need to go to this meeting. I promise I'll make it up to you."
I sighed, and nodded.
My mum came rushing forward for a hug, but I stopped her just in time to stop the tray she still held from falling.
After handing me the tray, she left still thanking me.
So I had to spend a Saturday with the cousins.
Great.
Just great.

Hey guys!
Sorry I haven't updated, though it should come at no surprise.
So, nothing happened, but the next chapter is going to introduce the kids and is going to be very fun.
The picture is of Yuki, Zero and Kaname from Vampire Knight, which is what India is reading. I have seen the series and read the first manga, and am currently reading the others as well.
My DT teacher is making me do this for homework. I have to tell you guys that in DT we are making a car and blah blah, so if one or two of you could just comment saying that you've read this note and hope all goes well, it would be very appreciated.
In DT, we are making a model car. It is based off of the car BloodHound, a car capable of going faster then sound. This is me telling you guys, and advertising it to the world. Please comment here showing you have read this.
Bye Guys
Tyler xoxo
