Many of the boys looked at me as I just stood there, I sighed and turned to Takoda, “Can you pick someone, and these boys are too scared to face a girl.”
Many growled before a wolf stepped forward, “I am not scared of a girl, I would just hate to hurt that pretty face.”
Before I could answer Lakota was in front of me growling at the wolf, the wolf bowed his head and backed up as I attempted to calm my mate. He just pulled me to him and started inhaling my scent, “Lakota it’s okay why don’t you stand and watch.”
He nodded before releasing me, I turned toward the wolf, “Well you going to fight me or be scared?”
He growled and blindly charged at me, I smirked as I easily dodged him and pinned him to the ground. I looked around to the wolves gathered, “Can anyone tell me what this dumbass did wrong?”
Everyone looked around but no one answered, I saw Mia and Milo had an answer but were too scared to answer, “Mia, Milo do you two know what he did wrong?”
They looked around a moment before looking at Lakota and me, “He didn’t think he just charged.” “He had no regard to what he would do, he let his wolf have control.”
I smiled at the pups as I turned to the older wolves, “Two five year olds are more courageous about answering my question. Now if anyone shifts during these trainings, I will give you laps.”
An alpha walked up to me and asked, “What is the importance of running laps?”
Takoda chuckled, “The training is not for the wolves but for the human self, if a wolf just relies on their wolf then they are weak. So many years ago the king had me begin the methods for the strengthening of the human self, and be lucky our witch allies made us bans that hold the wolf at bay.”
I looked to Takoda before walking to a giant boulder, everyone looked at me confused but I just ignored them; I felt along the ground and finally found the door. Pulling with all my strength I pulled the door open showing a room filled with bans, and silver weapons. I heard many gasps as I walked in and began looking for the royal bans; after a few minutes I finally found them. I grab my brothers and then my fathers, walking from the hidden building I slipped on my fathers as I threw my brothers his. “Every warrior is to line up and collect a set of bans, you lot will eat, sleep and bathe with these on, and if they are removed before the battle you will be stuck on guard duty.”
Matt entered the room and started handing me bans, after three hours they were on and training had started again. Maggi exited the castle coming to me, I saw her just as a warrior threw another warrior; I jumped in front of her and stopped the warrior, “Be sure you check were you throw your opponent because if you aren’t careful you could harm those aiding you.”
“Rose everyone eat, your turns.”
I nodded before whistling, heads snapped to me as I started to speak, “Those who have ran their laps may go to supper those that still need to run get a move on.”
I saw the late wolves try to sneak off but I dragged them back, I ran with the wolves that were left. With each wolf that finished I released them for supper, when those late wolves tried to sneak off again, I made them restart on their count till they finally stopped trying and just ran. When we finished it was pitch black outside as we made our way to the castle the alphas were standing there with their beta’s and by their scents I knew that these wolves were the parents of the group, “What is the meaning of having our children out so late,” “What kind of person lets children skip dinner.”
Before I could yell at them the boys did, “We were trying to get out of our laps, which resulted in further punishment, and we aren’t kids anymore.”
I smiled that these boys were willing to stand up for me after the shit I put them through, but that smile was quickly wiped off, “It’s not like she participated in these punishments, she probably sat there watching.”
“For your information I ran with all those that didn’t get their laps in and stayed and continued to run, even when these boys had to restart, I restarted, if you and your wives didn’t spoil these boys into getting away with what they wanted we wouldn’t have this problem. Children that get reward for bad behavior keep the habit and will continue it. It’s best to snip the bud before it blooms.”
The alphas looked shocked as I shoved passed them and entered the castle, instead of eating I went into my bedroom, where I saw Lakota reading and the pups passed out on the bed. I smiled at them as I went to my mate, he looked at me before pulling me into his lap. I chuckled at him, “Lakota I smell, I need to change.”
“Babe you could never smell and I just got those two to bed so let’s be quiet.”
I chuckled at him knowing that those pups were a handful, I kissed him as I stood on my feet heading to my closet. I quickly stripped from my workout clothes and slipping on some pajamas, and slipping in bed with my pups who immediately scooted closer to me. I smiled at them as sleep quickly took over.
----Next Morning----
I was awoken by my pups jumping on me and quickly running away as I shoot out of bed chasing them. It might have been 12 but others were already up and I didn’t care that I was still in pajamas, “You two better run or I’m going to get you.”
I was almost distracted that I almost didn’t sense the presence in the meeting hall, I quickly sped up and snatched my pups and calming walked into the room to see the alphas assembled and sitting in a chair before them was a vampire bound. Before anyone could stop me, the pups were sat on the throne as I snapped the vampires bonds. Many shouted at me but by my look they quickly shut their mouths. “DO YOU MORONS NOT KNOW WHO THIS IS, I AM SURPRISED THAT HE DIDN’T CALL HIS MEN IN HERE.”
Many were shocked that I shouted and that my wolf was in control a little, “It’s a vampire, they are dangerous.”
“This vampire is Damian prince of the vampire’s brother to Kali vampire king.”
Many were shocked, I helped Damian up and looked him over, “You alright?”
He nodded, I could tell he was hungry but was holding his breath hoping to fight the thirst. I sighed as I saw Maggi come in with a cup, “I saw them bring him, I brought drink.”
Damian took the cup and quickly drunk the liquid before smiling at Maggi, “vă mulţumesc Maggi, your hospitality still amazes me.”
“Your brother come?”
“He should be here soon, do you have enough to sustain us?”
“Never run out, got rid of old and refilled.”
I smiled at Maggi as I turned to the assembled alphas, lunas and betas, “Many of you might not like this but we will need the help if we are to beat these tyrants, but the vampires have a contract to withhold so as of sunset tonight we are allies of with the vampires.”
