Chapter 6

I awoke before the pups, I looked over towards Lakota to see him already gone. I slowly rose to my feet and started trekking through the house, I finally found Lakota’s scent and began following it but what surprised me was the scent of a high raking slayer in the same room as Lakota. I quickly walked to the oak door before knocking, I heard a pause before I was allowed to enter. I quickly entered and walked to Lakota without looking at the slayer, “Is it wise to allow a female to hear talk that isn’t meant for their ears?”

I lowly growled knowing full well that this man knew who I was; I simply ignored him as I stood behind Lakota. You okay? Yea just worried that he wants something that we won’t be able to give him, and father wants to speak with you after this person leaves. I simply stood there not answering him as I listened to them talk about how that the slayers were asking permission to travel through the territory while they looked for a she wolf with pups. I slightly tensed at his request knowing full well that they were looking for the pups and I; that they would snatch us when we were alone. The alpha and slayer were deep in a discussion when suddenly there was a scream heard throughout the house, I knew that it was Mia so faster then what anyone could process I was out the office and running through the house and through the open front door where I saw Mia and Michel struggling in the arms of two big wolves with warriors standing around not knowing what to do. I quickly attacked them, I first attacked the wolf that was holding Mia. I twirled my leg under his legs making him fall, I quickly pulled Mia away from him before attacking the wolf with Michel; doing the same to the other wolf. They quickly climbed to their feet and attacked me. I dodged their attacks, only to attack them with punches that rivals a male. I punched one in the jaw hearing it dislocate, the other I kicked in the stomach while I was fighting the other hearing him lose what lunch that he did have. When I backed away from the two bloody and beaten wolves, my pups rushed to me holding onto my legs. I placed my hands on their heads as the leader of these two exited the house; I start backing the up away from this wolf. I know that if I left my pups unprotected he or the others could easily attack them while I was distracted, “Well if it is Rozen how have you been my dear, what’s it been 5-6 years?”

I glared at him before talking to him so fast in a different language, “ai nenorocit cum ar putea să trădeze noi!” You bastard how could you betray us!

All he did was chuckle and move closer to me, I saw Lakota nearby; I removed the pups from my legs pushing them to Lakota before holding closing my left had around nothing near my hip before placing my right hand above it. No one moved for a minute before the traitor jumped at me with a sword he pulled from thin air it seems, I quickly pulled at the air also pulling a sword from nothing. I heard people gasp when they saw my sword but I ignored them; each member of the royal family or royal had a sword that would disappear when not needed and appear when called upon. The slayer and I were fighting until he pulled back and bowed, I turned my head to see Takoda and his wolves exiting the woods. I growled when I turned around again to see the three slayers gone; I turned my anger to Takoda. “Takoda you couldn’t wait, I almost killed that bastard and now that group of killers no were the pups and I are located I hope your happy that you signed to five year olds to their deaths if their captured.” I quickly sheathed my sword before walking to my pups and taking them inside to think of a plan.

I watched as Rose walked into the house, I turned back to the old wolf to see that he turned into his human form. “You boy are you the one who is my ladies mate?”
I glanced confused at him before nodding, he suddenly appeared in front of me punching me, “You bastard if you never laid eyes on her then she still might be safe no I’ve failed her parents.”

I growled with my pack at this man hit me and spoke these words what surprised me when he went to hit me again Rose appeared in front of me and pushed the old wolf back, “Takoda you touch my mate again friend or foe you will pay dearly”
