Chapter 13

Many of the alphas stood to their feet and started yelling about how vampires can't be trusted. I sighed as I listened to their complaints but what surprised everyone was a popping noise that filled the room; when the dust cleared standing in front of everyone was the vampire king accompanied by the twins. The twins were witches but the better term for one twin was warlock; growing up Kali and Macy were the best friends of my brothers while Damian and Rick were my partners in crime. I smiled as I jumped on Rick locking him in a choke hold, "You bastard that dust you created could have harmed my pups, have you never met a she wolf with pups?"

He started turning blue before a boy older than me and a warlock snatched me from Rick, and then I was suddenly ripped from his hold by my mate. "Look I'm sorry Rose but I wanted a dramatic effect, and what is this that I hear about pups."

I sighed as Macy spoke, "Rick must you make a big deal out of everything? And Nathanial I would advise you not to snatch Rose like that again or you will face the consequences."

I smiled at Macy, she was more of a big sister; she taught me what I would need to know in the future and how to deal with boys. I remember a time when we played a prank on all the boys, we dyed their hair pink and covered them in makeup. Everyone in the kingdom laughed about it for months. Many went quiet at the appearance of the vampire king and the magical rulers, but that didn't stop many from speaking their discomfort about the matter; I sighed as Lakota stood in front of me as many started getting angrier and louder. But before I could snap it was the pups, "STOP IT, YOU ARE ACTING LIKE PUPS NOT GETTING THEIR WAY, MOMMY IS TRYING EVERYTHING TO PROTECT EVERYONE AND YOU ARE ALL TURNING AGAINST HER,"

"IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN SO MUCH AND NOT HELP HER THEN LEAVE, YOU CAN FEND FOR YOURSELVES."

Mia calmed down before her brother but many saddened with what she said next, "Mommy didn't mean to bring this trouble to everyone but at least like many she didn't run. I mean sure she did at the beginning but that was to protect bubby and I, so, so why don't you leave mommy alone. She has been fending not only herself but also two five year old pups, it's hard for a rouge but it's harder for a mother she wolf."

Many had tears in their eyes when Mia had finished talking, I smiled as Jasper picked her up and held her as she cried and Lily calmed Michel. I looked at the alphas in the room before leaving to change and I quickly called for training. When the call ended no one was late, I smiled as I checked all their bands to confirm that no one had tampered with them, before turning to the vampires and witches and warlocks that gathered because they knew the routine. I sighed as I climbed onto one of the training equipment to speak, "I know many of you aren't keen with working with those from a different race but let me say this, those slayer bastards will not have hesitated to have gathered many different from our kind, they are not scared to seek help from those to crush their enemies, and knowing from my other spy they have gathered thousands to their cause just from the word of destroying the remaining members of the royals because not only is the stake of the wolf population under attack but now also the warlocks, wiccans, witches, and vampires. The war is set to begin in four days but we will use those four days to train to refortify the castle to protect those dear to us, and to even maybe help recruit any that fail to follow the slayers. Now any who don't wish to fight with those different from them can go to Maggi and learn how to treat wounds, if you are willing to try then stand tall and proud to fight with those different."

No one moved as I gave them a moment to think over their decision, I looked toward Rick and Damion, "Damion you will direct the men to fight against vampires, Rick you will be using magic and everyone is to get into units of three one member from each race."

I watched as everyone moved to follow my instructions as I smirked at Rick and Damion, the moment that I called for a group to fight we attacked them with a combo, to where I had the vamp pinned, rick had the wolf bound by air, and Damion had the magician by the throat; I looked around the group before releasing my victim, "If you believe that the slayers army will play fair you are mistaken, my friends and I will attack you randomly either one, two, or even all of us at a time against all three of you but understand this. No one will be told, you must learn to fight against any opponent and how you can help each other. Now let's begin again."
