Chapter 3

<Rose Prov>

I slowly started coming from a never ending darkness, to open my eyes to a semi dim room. Looking around I notice that I’m in a cage looking closer I see the bars are silver, I hear a noise across the room looking toward  the noise I see two bodies in a different cage across the room; I whistled causing one body to rise. I see Michel and an unknown girl that started waking up; “See I told you she would wake up soon.”

I smiled at my pup as he tried to reassure the girl that we were going to get out of here, I bent down and lowly whispered, “Michel where is your sister?”

“We were woken by your wolf telling us danger so I hid Mia and before I could hide they found me, they had her already, mom where are we?”

Looking around again I see hidden in a corner is a camera staring at me since I’m the biggest threat out of the pups and I, “Michel try touching the bars they might not have put you in a silver cage.”

Michel quickly touched the bar but his hand didn’t burn, I quietly chuckled, “Michel shift and start chewing on the bars see if you can create an opening, don’t worry about the camera they are mostly focusing the camera on me.”

He nodded before shifting into his dark wolf and began biting and pulling at the bars in the corner of the cage so that the whole would be hidden. He was at it for about three hours before people started coming down the hall, before I could warn Michel he was already shifted back into his human form with his clothes still on. If a royal shift for a reason besides rage then our clothes won’t shred, I watched as two males and a female entered the room, the female kneeled in front of my cage. “How is it that I’m always around Lakota but fates would have some rouge whore she- wolf turn out to be his mate?”

“How should I know I was just passing through when I ran into him, I would have just passed right through if it wasn’t for your slayer friend, seeing at how you’re associating with them and against your pack as well.”

The female glared at me before motioning to the males, they quickly unlocked my cage and dragged me out and followed the female as she left the room Michel while we are gone finish opening the cage, and look for a way out and be careful I looked around trying to help direct the two pups so they can get out safely.  I was suddenly thrown into a different room, I looked around to see a set of silver bars separating me and some slayers; I growled at them but backed up so they could poke me with anything. “Rozen where is your other pup?”

“Why would I tell you?”

“You will tell us, or we’ll just kill you and the boy and hunt down the girl; it’s not that difficult to capture a little girl once her protectors are gone.’

I growled at the slayers, blindly barreling into the bars; I felt the silver digging into my skin making the pain unbearable but I pushed through it trying to reach these monsters. I finally had to pull back when I heard not only my wolf but also my pups whimper at the pain, I slowly back away and leaned on the wall I saw that the slayers were shocked that I could with stand so much torment when suddenly the alarms sounded.

My father, some warriors and I were sitting in the council room trying to think of places that Rose could have been taken, I had Mia in sitting in the room with us so I could keep an eye on her. I glanced at her to see her staring at a map of the not only our territory but to some surrounding territory as well; we were deep into discussion that I almost missed Mia whimpered. I turned around to see a faint burn appear on her arm and shoulder, my mind instantly ran to Rose and Michel. I knelt beside Mia to look at the wound but she brushed me off before pushing a chair to the map and pointing in no man’s land to the North, “They are there, our family link weakens at long distances but if there is immense pain or emotion it strengthens to be able to locate each other.”
