A/N: sorry for the disappearance again. Not even going to promise that this won't continue to happen because it probs will. Uh, yeah, prepare yourselves.

Penelope POV

Mommy had moved us to our chair after lunch and I stayed cuddled into her body as she rubbed my head.

"I'm guessing you are going to be attached to my hip aren't you little one?" Mommy questioned and I giggled a little.

"My mommy. Mommy no leave me." I told her and I heard her sigh slightly.

"Yes baby, I'm your mommy. I won't leave you, I promise. Why don't you get a little more of a nap in, you've had a rough morning." Mommy told me and I laid my head on her chest in agreement. She sang a quiet lullaby to soothe me to sleep.

About an hour or so later I finally woke up from my nap and I was still cuddled into mom. She gave me a soft smile as I was waking up. "Hi mom." I whispered.

She kissed the top of my head, "Hello sweetie. Are you feeling bigger?" I gave her a soft nod as I stayed cuddled against her.

"I'm sorry for being so needy earlier." I confessed and she chuckled softly.

"There's no need to be sorry baby girl. We all love you so much and we love when you need us, so there's nothing to be sorry or to worry about my darling." Mom reassured me.

I turned my head slightly and saw Mari sitting on the couch watching television. "Sorella?" I called out for her and she turned her head to me with a small smile.

"What's up Penny?" Mari asked curiously.

I sighed a little, this is something I'd rather just talk to Mari about privately. I know though that she'd make me tell the others anyways, and even though I'm big I don't want to leave mom yet.

"I - uh... Before you guys adopt me, I want to get screened." I told her and I saw her face and ma's showed confusion. I looked up and saw mom was looking confused too.

"What do you mean screened Penny?" Ma asked first and I took a deep breath.

"I want to make sure I don't have the chances of getting the same kind of cancer as Ana. I don't want you all to adopt me just for me to die." I said the last part quietly, but they all still heard me.

Mom hugged me tightly. "You are not dying baby. Everything is okay. Okay? I don't leave you so you don't leave me either." Mom said as she kissed my forehead. I think she was crying slightly because I felt the tears hit my face.

"We can get you screened though Penny. I don't have any problems with that, but just like mom said, you aren't dying. Simply not allowed." Ma said with a little grin causing me to chuckle a bit.

"And Penny. No matter what that test comes back, we want you. Okay? Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing could ever make us not adopt you." Mari told me and I nodded my head.

"We love you so much baby girl. We want you." Mom spoke up again and I nodded.

"I love you guys too. I just wanted to make sure you knew fully what you could possibly be getting into." I said with a small chuckle and everyone laughed a little.

"I actually have a little bit of time before my shift if we want to ride over to the hospital. It'd be best if we took two cars since I have to stay though." Ma told us and I nodded quickly.

"The sooner the better." I told them and they all gave a little nod.

We all got ready rather quickly and loaded up into the cars. Ma was in her car with me in the car with Mom. Mari stayed back to get some things around the house done.

We got to the hospital where ma took us into an exam room before she started running all of her tests. She did blood, hair, and even a spit sample which I found gross. She wanted to run tests on everything.

Soon enough, it was just about time for us to leave since her shift was starting soon. "How long will that take Ma?" I asked curiously and she gave me a little smile.

"Well I put a rush on it, so hopefully just a week or so, but maybe two. Don't worry about it baby, you and mom just get home safe. I love you." She said as she pulled me into a hug.

I hugged her back tightly before following mom out to the car.

Mom drove us home carefully like always when we made it to a red light. As soon as it went green mom started going. I heard a loud metal noise as our car got flipped into the air. When we hit the ground, I don't remember anything than mom bloodied and passed out with me quickly passing out as well.

Third-Person POV

Bethany and Penelope's car had flipped in the air upon impact and eventually landed on its roof. Both Bethany and Penelope were passed out and bloodied. The driver that hit them, quickly made his way out of the van and over to their car. He looked at Bethany first before going over to Penelope.

During the collision, all of the windows of their car were busted out making it easy for the man from the van to unbuckle Penelope's seat belt and pull her from the car. He lifted her over his shoulder and got her into his van where he drove off before he could hear the sirens.

Bethany POV

I woke up and saw I was in the back of an ambulance. I turned to one of the EMT's before grabbing his arm. "Where's Penny?" I coughed out. He looked at me confused.

"Who is Penny?" He asked worriedly.

I coughed some more, "My daughter...she was in the car with me. She's 17." His eyes widened at that.

"You were the only one in the car when we arrived on the scene." He told me and I started crying. She's gone, I just know it. They have her.
