Bethany POV

Penny curled up into my lap as I rubbed her head. I probably shouldn't have since she falls asleep so easily. My stomach growled as I held her in my arms.

"Bella? Can you grab me a snack?" I asked and Bella quickly left and came back with a bag of chips. I held Penny with one arm and ate with my free hand.

"Will she be okay?" Mariana spoke quietly and I looked over to her with a sad smile.

"Our baby will always be okay, she has us. She may struggle and we need to be ready for that." I told her and I could tell she was still unsure.

I felt Penny start to stir a little so I rocked her in my arms softly but she ended up opening her eyes to look at me.

"Hello my little one." I cooed softly at her and she just looked at me with a small smile. She curled herself into a tighter ball, which was a little difficult because of her leg.

She didn't say anything though. She just smiled and reached for my hand. Allowing her to do what she wanted, which was to play with my fingers, I shot a concerned look at my wives who looked at me with the same look.

Penny let go of my hand to suck on her thumb. I gently pulled her thumb out of her mouth causing her to whine. I shushed her quietly before pulling out a pacifier from the stand next to the chair.

"Baby are you hungry at all?" I asked her softly and Penny stared at me with no motion to show she understood me.

"Sugarplum, how old are you right now?" Bella asked but again received no response.

"I think she has slipped far Beth. We need to put her in something." Mariana spoke to us and Bella nodded in agreement.

"I won't be able to get a pull-up on her with her leg." I told them a little worried about what they are about to suggest.

"Then we need to put her in a diaper..." Bella spoke next and I immediately shook my head.

"No. Penny specifically said no diapers. She was okay with pull-ups but no diapers." I fought them on this but Mariana shook her head.

"Bella is right, baby. She needs protection and if you can't get the pull-up on then you need to put the diaper on." Mariana spoke up causing me to look at her confused.

I sighed quietly. "Fine, go grab a diaper then." I told them and Mariana quickly left the room.

I looked back to Penny who was just off in her own world. I kissed her temple and she gave me a goofy grin around her paci.

"You're my small baby aren't you?" I cooed to her and she wrapped her arms around me to give me a hug.

I let out a chuckle, "Thank you angel." 

Bella came back downstairs with the diaper stuff and I sighed a little bit before looking back to Penny.

"Hi sweet baby. Is it okay for momma to diaper you?" I asked her and she still didn't respond. I'm a little worried that she's not answering or talking.

I helped her shift to be on her back and Bella quickly unbuttoned her onesie before powdering and diapering her. She snapped the buttons back on her onesie and kissed her forehead.

Mariana came around with Penny's blanket and stuffie. She wrapped her in the blanket and handed the stuffie to her and she quickly grabbed it and gave it a big squeeze.

"Now that she's all settled." I jokingly said but couldn't help but coo at how adorable she was. She was in a cute little onesie, I could feel her extra cushioned tush, she had her blankie and stuffie all snuggled with her and she had a paci in her mouth.

I couldn't help myself when I asked Mari to take a picture of us. Mari laughed before pulling out her phone to take a picture of us.

Holding Penny tightly in my arms I look to my wives. "Should we be worried about her not talking?" I question.

"I don't know for sure, but she's had some rough memories that were brought up and it makes sense that she regressed farther than normal. I'm sure she'll be okay. Don't worry babe." Bella explained and Mariana agreed with her.

I sighed as I kissed Penny's head again. She was too distracted with her stuffie to notice though. She accidentally dropped her stuffie on the ground and before any of us could react she started sobbing. My eyebrows rose in shock and my wives sported that same look. I tried to rock her softly and quiet her but that wasn't working. Bella reached over and tossed the stuffie up to me and I handed it back to her.

I let out a sigh of relief when she immediately quieted down.

"That was different." Mariana said with a little laugh causing the whole mood to lighten.

Penny tugged on my shirt somewhat and I chuckled at her. "It doesn't matter how old you are, you're mommy's hungry baby aren't you?"

She just whined as she tugged some more and I laughed as I pulled my shirt up and pulled her paci out of her mouth.

She latched on quickly causing me to jump a little bit. "Easy baby, it's not going anywhere." I said with a little smile.

She slowed down and was a little more gentle. I cradled her in my arms.

"I should call my sister and let her meet Penny." Bella said out loud.

I nodded in agreement. "I think that's a good idea. What brought that up?" I asked curiously and Bella blushed brightly.

"I want to take my wives on a date soon so if Penny could get along with my sister and trust her, then maybe she could babysit?" Bella asked and I took a deep breath in.

"Are we sure that's a good idea?" I asked. Continuing to clarify my words, "It would have to be when Penny was big. Penny freaks out if I leave her with one of you when little. I can't imagine her reaction with a stranger." I explained and Bella nodded.

"So we introduce them when she's big and explain that we wouldn't only have her watch her when she was big. I think that could be worked with." Mariana spoke and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Okay, then let's do it." I said as I looked back at my baby. I never want to leave her side, but I miss spending alone time with my wives.
