I woke up again. How unfortunate.

My internal disappointment served as an alarm clock. Sleeping for a little longer sounded euphoric, dare I say forever.

Friday rolled around briskly and I hadn't even opened my eyes before a certain Malfoy was appearing in my head. After little time I realised it was because he woke me up, not because I felt like dreaming about the condescending git. The reverberating bang from the opposite room, accompanied with a grunt, was the source of my waking.

When I eventually opened my eyes there was a slight gleam that informed me it was somewhat morning. It took me approximately ten seconds to resolve that moving was overrated and my body was begging for peace. Lessons were off the cards today and I fell back into a gratifying slumber.

A few hours later I concluded on having a bath then resuming my position in bed. I hadn't heard any movement or indication that Draco was not in classes but I wanted to be sure before I decided to flaunt naked in a tub, might I add, the one in which he could access. There were no fresh sounds since he woke me and I assumed I was in the clear, I pressed an ear on his door for good measure.

The bathroom started to steam up from the searing water, I shut my eyes embracing the heavenly warmth, resting the rest of my weight on the door.

Consequently I landed unkindly on the floor, the door that was formerly holding me up had shifted. I sat up feeling slightly delirious, but no, I was where I believed I was. His floor. The door was unlocked and I was in his room.

I looked around in surprise and slight consideration. My outstanding curiosity was forefront, ultimately deciding a small nosey around wouldn't cause any harm.

Surprisingly there wasn't much to see, it was ordinary, almost lifeless. A shirt tossed over a chair and a tie laying over his dresser proved the room was in use. The black lake was reflecting through the blinds displaying an inky dim cast over the room. Overall the room was insipid.

One of the few noticeable items turned out to be a rather exorbitant looking quill and a stack of parchments, placed methodically on his desk, on closer inspection each page was inked with the Malfoy's' family signature. I chose a draw to shamefully snoop in, only discovering further quills and wax seals. I was slightly disappointed that he didn't have anything more personal.

Heading out I passed his bed, a glint catching my eye. The collection of firewiskey stared through me, few bone dry, some unopened. I realised the minuscule glint actually belonged to a small artefact, no larger than a tie pin, laying on his nightstand. It was placed in a fascinating manner, I was drawn to it. The closer I got the more chilly the room grew. I bent down to inspect it when it shuddered slightly eliminating a microscopic string of black smoke, a quaint feeling loomed over me.

The dark magic was highly unmissable.

.

I stayed in bed until I heard continuous murmurs from the common room, I summoned Pansy with a enchanted butterfly note. She arrived minutes later, still in her robes and not bothering to knock.
"You're still in bed? Do you know what time it is!"

"no"

"Its almost six! Drinks are in my room tonight" She gracefully sat on my bed end, like a mother would.

"Your room?!" I said, still in a slight daze from napping all day.

She started folding the laundry I'd failed to put away. "Yes, the common room is too busy now these icky little second years are multiplying."
