"Impatient he starts, fearful he ends."

"She had him regretting the start to the end."

"Swallowing his pain along with the drink."

"He was a puppet held together with string."

"He is now our puppet held together by us."

"Such beautiful sadness that ran from within."

"We had so much fun watching him drink."

"We had him mourning every tomorrow."

"But then she stopped him from drowning his sorrows."

"Ps, Malfoy doesn't own such a thing as a diary."

"Whoa mate, what the fuck is going on now?"
A stumbling Theo emerges from his room.

Draco carried on, not bothering to stop. He was more so debating whether or not to throw Pansy down the stairs and risk punishment.

"Malfoy! Let's not get violent now shall we?" Theo urged practically reading his mind.

Draco snarls but manages to stop. He lets go and thrusts Pansy away from him.
"Now fuck off will you. You're supposed to be nice to her aren't you, that's what friends do isn't it? Don't get me wrong I wouldn't know but I don't think you're supposed to shred her last remaining stableness."

"What's she done now?" Theo strolled over, casually being ignored.

Pansy was always fast on her remarks Draco would always give her that.

"Because that's exactly what you did when I first introduced her isn't it? Do you need reminding? I wouldn't be surprised If half that stuff she did was because of YOU!" She sneered.

Draco points his finger and bares his teeth at her . "You fucki-"

Slam

All three heads turned back towards the bang and Draco instantly turns to leave.
"Oh no you fucking don't!" He shouts towards the door.

Pansy catches his arm and stops him from moving. "Just leave it. Hey, maybe then you won't have blood on your hands... would make a change now wouldn't it?"

He resists an unforgivable and shakes her off, thankful that words couldn't cause him any further harm than what he already felt.

He leaves Nott and Parkinson lingering in the hall.

Theo frowns at her as he staggers back down the hall. "I'm too fucked to deal with your crazy bitch spite right now."

-

I instantly regretted that door slam knowing it would draw unwanted attention.

"Oh no you fucking don't!"

I groaned and inadvertently ground my teeth. I had been dying for an excuse to hurt myself again, it just so always happened at the unfavourably of times.

In three unfortunate seconds my door was about to re open and I wasn't going to be able to carry out my next game plan.

I removed my blade from my wrist and drop my hand to my side, my back was towards the door as I heard it open. "Go away Draco."

I heard him shut the door and his footsteps start wondering around the room.
"I said go away."

He scoffed. "You're funny, now turn around."

I groaned slightly. "I mean it! Go away."

My arm started to itch for contact and It caused me to grow hot and irritated, I traced my finger over the razor sharp edge causing superficial paper cuts to my fingertips.

"You do know I'm smarter than you right?" He asked rhetorically.

I scrunched up my face and turned around.
"Well, yes but I mean what's that got to do with anything!" I huffed, trying but failing to matching his suspiciously serene tone.

With another eye roll he slumped onto my bed. "You try anything with that knife and it will be out of your hand before you can say... well, fucking anything."

I looked down to see my hand still covering the object I was holding, still correct in thinking he couldn't visibly view it. "How did you-"

"I told you I was smarter."

"I prefer the term 'academically stronger'."

He chuckled briefly.

"I said leave Malfoy."

"Fine."

My eyes brightened.
"Really?"

"No."

I presented mute for a short minute while debating my next actions. If he was going to make this difficult then he left me no choice.

I turned back to the window and raised my wand unnoticeably.
"Petrificus Totalus!" I threw the spell behind me.

Silence.

I smirked.

I dropped my wand and breathed a sigh of relief turning towards the bathroom, I wasn't cruel enough to make him watch. Now that was inhuman.

My smirk dropped.

"It's pronounced 'pro-tey-go'" he glances at me. "Unless you do it wandlessly of course."

I bit my tongue. "Expelliarmus!"

He chuckled again, but still expressed a blank expression. "Who exactly are you trying to disarm?" He looked around the room. "Obviously not me."

"Fine, forget it. I'll pack it in." I nodded and gestured to throw my wand towards him.

But of course I had better ideas.

"Protego totalum!"

A slight flicker of panic ran through his face, one of the rarest emotions I could of ever saw from him.

"Bastard."
He bounced up behind the haze of my charm as I moved the metal to my vein.

"Accio wand, Accio artefact."

I began to feel the sting of the sharpened edge entering my skin when time started to slow. I saw a green ominous glow emitting from his palm and in the other hand he raised his wand pensively towards me.

He closed his eyes as if he was severely contemplating his next actions. He clutched his fist around the unknown object in his palm and took a breath.

My curiosity had me hesitating but if I regretted anything it would be not tearing my veins apart while I had the chance.

"Imperio."

And my arm dropped.
