"I think he's got a little soft spot for you." Theo smirks.

I'm powering ahead in front of him but his comment causes me to stop, which in effect, results in him ploughing into my back. He pushes me to keep moving.

My eyebrows practically invert. "What?"

"Unless you have another reason as to why I have to keep an eye on you."

I scoff, seemingly doing that much more since being around Draco, or maybe just more aware or it, I toss the thought away. "He's forced, his conditions remember."

We have been waking for five minutes and I can finally see a tinge of blinding red in the distance.

"Yeah, only when you're in his sight." He chuckles.

I slow my pace and shoot him a puzzled look, irritated that he's not getting to the point.

"But you're not anymore and he's still managing to find ways to keep tabs on you. Seems like he might just care." He shrugs as we pull up to the Gryffindor tower, changing the subject as if it was insubstantial.
"How are you planning to get in exactly? What are we doing here." He turns his nose up towards the brightly coloured flag. " And why?"

I was slightly worried, Theo and Draco are alike in many ways, including their brainless hatred towards other houses.
"play nice." I give him a weary glance and a quick smile. "I'll only be a moment."

I don't want to disturb the -very much asleep- fat lady, especially at this time, mind me, she would wake the whole school up. The time had slipped my mind and I faltered for a second, wondering if I should continue, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
I knock firmly three times. Hoping my suspicions of a certain someone being awake were correct.

We wait.
My companion less patient than I am, muttering about how long it's taking.
I questioned knocking again firmer when the door started rattling, opening.

It was dark, but there was a small, lantern lit setup in the far corner, the light radiating off the ruby red features, giving off all sorts of fiery shadows. It always was known as the cosiest common room.

"Hello Harry, I thought you might be awake." I smiled at my old class mate, suspicions being met.

In forth year, I had spent some time with Hermione, working on a project together, we became friends quickly and she introduced me to Harry, who was never far from her side anyway. Unfortunately It didn't stick, turns out the fellow Gryffindors are gatekeepers to their own. In spite of that, we stayed friendly in the halls, dishing smiles and the occasional hello, though now I wondered if that was enough to come knocking at their door asking for favours.

Harry looks vaguely confused but remained polite. "Oh, hello Keaton." He said softly, in a slightly questioning tone, glancing to Theo more wearily.

Theo scowls. "Potter." I glare at him, speaking before he ruins my chance before I even ask.

"Sorry to bother you this late, but we need your help."

"We!?" Theo raised a thick brow, I ignore him.

Harry motions to carry on.

"We, as in Slytherin, have seemed to misplaced our medical spells book, you know, big one that tells you what potions you need? Could I- I mean we, borrow it to make a quick copy?" I smile, flashing my teeth keenly and angelic like, though I probably just looked strange.
