As much as Keaton liked other peoples company it could never compare to when she was alone.

.

It was around 1am when I got way too restless to stay in my room anymore, I wouldn't sleep at-all at night if it was my choice. The dark hours were way more interesting to me than the light.

Unfortunately I had to attend some classes otherwise there was no point in me even being at Hogwarts. I didn't go to many, my parents informed Dumbledore rather way too much about me, so I didn't get into too much trouble from it. I tried to not take it for granted but sometimes i used it to my advantage.

I draped a blanket around my shoulders and walked into the dark common room dimly lit by the moon peering in from the slight gap in the curtains and the faint glow of the fire embers that were only just about lit. The window was deep enough into the wall that someone could sit comfortably on the windowsill. It was one out of many of my favourite places among this school.

And oh the view.

The way the black lake glimmered upon the moons glaze, if clear enough the stars reflecting on the waters giving off enough light to make out the dark shadowed mountains behind. I liked the window open, the sound of the early morning hours were completely different to the busy sounds of the day hours.

The chilled air caressed my face better than any living person could. I liked the quiet because it reminded me of how alone I really was. I knew I gave into the dark thoughts with no means of pulling myself back out but I liked falling deeper into the darkness. I felt too far gone to be worthy of help or happiness.

"Black?"

I jumped and hit my head against the back of the wall.
I squinted my eyes trying to adjust to the now pitch black common room, hand rubbing my head. I pulled back the curtain slightly, the moon light hit his pale skin intensifying it even more that I thought was possible.

"Draco?"

"These are my hours, go back to your room." He stated.

"You can't claim time Malfoy" I half scoffed half laughed.

"Watch me, now fuck off."
He had a black mug in his hand, he sipped the liquid like it was water but his face showed a slight different once again, He twisted his mouth slightly holding back a grimaced expression.

I smirked, "coffee huh?"

He stepped forward, now directly in the moonlight so I could see him more clearly. He looked rough but somehow managed to pull it off, his stuck up rich daddy's boy look had turned into a scruffy tired damaged rich boy look. still as powerful as ever just worn out. I didn't even know that it was possible to present so many looks at once.

"Fuck. Off."
The once statement has now turned into a demand.

I didn't say anything yet, I was trying to decide weather I wanted to listen to him or continue to defy him. I tilted my head to slightly study him, not something that I could do either, he was a closed book, actually make it a padlocked book. I didn't want to openly argue with him but I was also not one that let other people tell me what to do.
I was very stubborn. He also interested me.
"No"

"Excuse me? You obviously didn't hear me." He raised his voice ever so slightly, clearly agitated.
" I said fuck off..."

"Now" He spat.
