Fire and ashes were spread everywhere in the City of Freedom. The feeling of heat on Kaeya's cheeks couldn't bring him to a smile. After all, this was half of his doing. The other half of this was where his eyes layed on. A certain person, someone Kaeya was curios of, floating in the air with a scary look on their face.

What was this? Destruction? Or love?

As Kaeya observed the area, his eye couldn't help but lower at the scene. A little girl laying on the hard stone floor, a dark red liquid surrounding her small body. Oh, if she lived longer, she might've succeeded as the spark knight. His attention then turned to a man sitting up with he support of the city's walls. Kaeya watched as their lifeless body was continued to be pierced with arrows by a monster. The man who in which Kaeya grew up with, already dead. Maybe if he escaped, he would find out who really killed their father..

Then again, it's not like it really was Kaeya's father. It was more of someone else's. Kaeya blinked away his thoughts, tapping his foot on the ground as he watched a certain blonde traveler retreat with their floating companion.

"And so it seems, one outside the walls cannot protect our lands.." The quiet whisper was breathed out by the fine lips of Kaeya's.

His attention went back to the one who was fully destroying Mondstadt. No one other than..

"..Albedo."

The name that Kaeya couldn't stop calling to. The name of a certain boy who didn't question his blocked eye. Albedo, the name that Kaeya remember's as clear as day. Kaeya was always thinking about what Albedo's true intentions were. Albedo was always quiet, never once cracking a joke to the Chivalry Captain.

And, now here he was. Destroying the very place he never once considered home. So, where is Albedo's real home?

"Big bro Albedo..? If Dragonspine is part of Mondstadt, how come there is no snow when it is winter in the city?"

A small girl with twin pigtails asked, looking up at her so-called 'big brother.'

"Would you like it to snow, Klee?"

The girl known as Klee, jumped happily in her red night gown, holding tightly onto a furry ball she named Jumpty-Dumpty.

"You can make that possible?!"

Before the older blonde can reply, snowflakes danced around him and Klee. Klee squealed, reaching up to grab the small snowflakes.

"I couldn't help but over hear the conversation."

"Kaeya!!" Klee ran up to a blue haired male, hugging the figure with a bright smile on their face.

Albedo turned around, his blank expression still pasted on his face.

"Say, isn't it past your bedtime Klee?" Kaeya asked, chuckling after as the red girl pouted.

"Yeah.." Before Klee was returned to her room, she tugged on Kaeya's sleeve.

"I won't be able to sleep.. can you sing me a lullaby?" Klee asked, putting on one of her famous puppy eyes.

"Of course. Care to join us, Albedo?" Kaeya asked, looking up at the one who was originally accompanying Klee.

"I have duties to finish up in the lab. You can go without me." Just before Albedo can leave the room, Klee caught up to him and tugged his coat.

"Please stay! I wanna be with both of you!" Klee stated, smiling as Albedo gave a small nod.

Albedo and Kaeya walked Klee to her room, tucking her in and putting up a candle on her night stand.

Kaeya hummed, before starting.

Memories, the fine memories. If only they would last a lifetime, if only they lasted longer. But, if they did last longer, this destruction will only continue on. Probably by then, there would be no one else to scream in horror.

In all honesty, I don't think the Song had anything to do with
