"Shhhhh."

Kazuha watched you as you placed a finger on your lips, signaling him to not make a noise. Even though the Inazuman run-away his just joined the Crux a few days ago, Beidou couldn't help but make him stick by her side at all times. She even brought him with her today. Over to Ninguang's place.

That.. is a very bad idea.

As Ninguang's very own love child, you can't help but take interest at the new comer. So, as Ninguang and Beidou had their daily base of arguments, you quietly dragged away the handsome prince from his guardian.

As you slipped away from the guards that protected the floating abode, Kazuha couldn't help but admire you from behind. Your hand gently held his as you made another small dash away to the outside world.

It was incredible how you were able to slip past the guards like that in an instant, even if you were clinging onto someone. Heck, you could probably sneak away from the vision hunt decree as a hobby!

Your sweet long sigh took Kazuha's mind off the Hunt Decree. The light wind blew on your hair as Kazuha's ponytail wrapped around his shoulder and partly on his neck.

"Sorry I dragged you without warning. Arguments between Aunti- ah, Ninguang and Beidou can get pretty heavy and annoying to hear." You explained. "Sometimes everyone has to exit this palace.." You quietly mumbled to yourself.

You perked up your head, then lowering it to suddenly take interest in your shoes.

"..Was.... My grip on your hand to hard?" You ask, blushing a bit as you avoided eye contact with Kazuha.

Kazuha's face turned into an interesting surprised look. "N-no.. your hands are surprisingly soft.."

Your face turned red. This was the first day you've meet the boy, and he had already complimented you! Realizing what he said, Kazuha's face mimicked you and he quickly averted his attention somewhere else.

"Uh-uhm! Well, I w-wanted to talk to you about something..!" You finally said. A nod came from Kazuha in reply.

Before you can open your mouth to say anything, you heard two voices from behind. Of course, those two voices were definitely Beidou's and Ninguang's. It was easy to tell it was theirs, you can hear them lightly arguing with each other. You quickly grabbed ahold of Kazuha's hand.

Kazuha got your signal and guided you away from the adults. He stopped by a small stream of water where you took the lead to sit down.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" Kazuha asked, finding this a peaceful moment to continue your conversation.

"Right." You nodded.

You took off your shoes and socks, placing them next to you. You place a foot in the water, taking a seat on the cold stone ground. Kazuha sat down next to you, folding his legs in a cross-cross position.

"Is there something bothering you?" You suddenly ask, swinging your feet lightly in the water.

Kazuha was taken aback. His gaze shifted down to the water. He stared at his own reflection.

"I'll take that as a yes." You lightly smiled, looking up at the blue sky. "If you wanna talk about it.. feel free to."

"I.." Kazuha nodded. "Alright."

And so he began. His voice continued on and on, as if he sang a song in your ears.

"They got together easily."

Beidou crossed her arms with a smirk.

Ninguang and Beidou stalked you and Kazuha from above the bridge. Ninguang replied with a hum, taking another smoke from her smoke pipe. They watched as you comforted Kazuha with a hug.

They don't really know what you two were talking about, but the expressions you were making made it easy to guess that you probably asked a personal question to Kazuha.

Beidou had already explained Kazuha's situation to Ninguang. However, Ninguang was unaware that Beidou would actaully bring him the next time she would 'visit'. Other than having the surprise visit, she was more surprised that you had taken interest in someone. After a few... scary years before, you had finally decided to talk to someone outside the Jade Chamber.

The real question is, what made you take an interest in Kazuha?

The question roamed in Ninguang's mind as you bid a farewell to Kazuha. As they were escorted out the Jade Chamber, Ninguang creeped up behind you, placing a hand on your shoulder.

You turned around with a smile to Ninguang, which surprised her. It was rare to see you in a happy mood for once that was caused by someone else other than her.

"When's the next time I can see Kazu?" You then ask, giving her puppy eyes.

'They're already giving themselves nicknames?' Ninguang chuckled. "Tomorrow maybe, dear Y/n."

You squealed in happiness. You happily hugged the elder woman, taking her aback.

Ninguang responded by patting your head.

'I suppose the question can wait.'
