Barbara cringed as she took a longing stare at a sheet of paper— her final grades. She was top of her class and landed top 3 of her school, yet she didn't look to happy about it.

"That's the face kids make when they landed on the top 100. What's with the face?"

You creeped up behind the blond with a small grin on your face. It was currently free period, which allowed students to have a short 30 minutes break before continuing on with classes. Barbara turned her head to face you with a small frown.

"I was hoping to surpass my older sister's score.." Barbara sighed out, using her hand to rest her chin.

"And?"

"..I was off by 3 points..." Barbara slouched onto her desk, mentally crying at her results.

Patting your girlfriend on the back, you decided to cheer her up.

"Maybe next time, y'know! I'm rooting for you!" You cheered, causing Barbara to lift her small frown into a smile.

"Thanks, I'll work hard more next time!" She replied with a grin, before returning to a stare towards her report card.

You mentally gave a sad sigh to yourself. What if Barbara doesn't reach her goal till death? If she gives up, then what would all of this work be for? Will she be able to continue on with the future?

You shook your thought away. No! Barbara can do anything, I believe in her!

"By the way," You tapped on Barbara's shoulder to grab her attention again.

You watched your girlfriend turn around fully on her seat to give you a cutesy smile which almost killed you inside. Why must god create such a cute angel?!

"My mom is starting an idol agency. Your older sister's a model, right? Why not try to become an idol and surpass your sister through that? After all, you really sing beautifully when we have karaoke dates." You stated, causing the girl to blush lightly.

In all honestly, you were surprised when her eyes lit up with sparkles.

"Really?!" Barbara shouted, but then slapped her hand on her mouth, not wanting to cause a commotion. "Your mom? Alice?? Is she scouting me?" Barbara asked in pure shock.

It was possible she knew about the whole new idol agency Ms. Alice, your mom, was starting up. Your mom was pretty much on top of the world, creating weird business here and there that suddenly became popular. She then began an idol agency after she published an "idol" magazine which got lots of reads. You've also heard a lot of guys and girls were trying out her agency to possibly gain fame and such.

"Mhm! She snuck into my phone and saw the video of you singing.. Ahh, she was all like 'she's gotta be the one!' and then pressured me to ask you today." You explained, only causing Barbara's cheeks to redden more.

"I-I'm flattered..." Barbara shyly hid her face behind her sheet of grades. You gave a chuckle at her actions.

"So, do you wanna?"

"An absolute yes!!!"

An older (but young-looking) middle aged office lady in a red office uniform slapped down a magazine named "TEYVAT IDOLS" in front of you and Barbara. This one and only person who would do so would be none other than your mom, Alice. She was the only one who could've ever written a world-sold magazine like that.

"Why not go through this magazine I just published? It might help you understand idols fully." Alice suggested, placing her hands on her waist.

Alice smiled in happiness after you and Barbara nodded. You and her came rushing into your mom's new building for the new idol agency right after school. It really surprised you how there was so many teens there for try outs. Luckily, you were able to get hands on special access ( *cough* due to your mom *cough* ), so it allowed you and Barbara to skip the line. So now, here you are in an empty dance room that was next to the try outs next door.

"Alright then~ if you have any questions, don't be shy to call me over! I'll be in the room next door, cya kids!"

Waving bye to your mother who skipped out of the small dance room, you finally decided to check out the magazine with Barbara.

"This must be the newest one that just came out.. Some kids in our class got a hold of it since it ran out so quickly.." Barbara whispered to herself as she slowly flipped the pages, staring in awe.

"A lot of the idols in the book went got out of idol-ing aa few years ago.. My mom just put them in to gives others inspiration of what to do." You stated as Barbara listened in surprise. "My mom was actually thinking of making my younger sister an idol, but then changed her mind."

"Klee..?! Seriously? Isn't she too young?" Barbara asked.

"Yeah, thats why my mom changed her mind. She wants Klee to live freely." You said, Barbara nodding in response.

"Oh, speaking of Klee, who's watching her at home?" Barbara then asked, worried that Klee is home alone. Usually you were the one who would watch Klee since her kindergarten classes end the same time as your's.

"Albedo is watching over her for today."

"Ohh.."

You nodded, then turning back to the page Barbara was on in the magazine.

"Check it out, some idols use nicknames for fans to address them! Maybe you should think of one as well." You suggested, pointing out some of the idol's names on the magazine as an example.

"Hmm.." Barbara stared up at the ceiling, in thought.

"BB angel?"

"That's the nickname you gave me when we were texting.."

"Barb?"

"That's what everyone calls me at school.."

You then stuck in thought once again with Barbara. A few minutes later, Barbara stood up from her seat and jumped infront of you which got you surprised.

'What about 'Shining Idol'?" She asked with a huge smile on her face.

"Sure, it really gives that kind of vibe off you!" You said, blushing a bit at Barbara's face.

Who would've thought she'd become Teyvat's #1 Idol. But, was it possible that she surpassed her sister?

In your eyes— or possibly anyone's eyes, she did.
