Ron's POV
Now that Willow has arrived I feel even more determined to win the tournament, whatever it takes. I hope she likes her name when she is older - I wouldn't want to feel guilty if she didn't.
I was unusually quiet this afternoon, I think it was my emotions, but it was mainly just Harry and Hermione talking to each other and me just staring at Willow, holding her hand or looking at Hermione. Hermione is glowing in her new state of motherhood, you wouldn't recognise her.
Eventually there was a knock on the door and Madam Pomfrey went to the door, opened it a crack and said, "No, visitors today, it says on the sign, can you not read?"
"I can, but I would like to see my niece or nephew if you don't mind," I could hear Ginny and I could imagine the fierceness of her features when she was frustrated coming out in her.
"Oh, all right then, but not for long!" Madam Pomfrey opened the door the slightest bit more, leaving a tiny gap for Ginny to squeeze through, and then slamming the door behind her and stalking to her office. Ginny just rolled her eyes and went and sat next to Harry.
"She's sleeping at the moment, not much to see," Harry said, then kissed her on her hairline, brushing her hair behind her ear.
"I don't mind, she's family, and she's beautiful," Ginny said, not being able to take her eyes off Willow, "Have you named her?"
Hermione told her, then gave her the explanation that I gave Hermione and then finishing with, "It was Ron's idea,"
For the first time Ginny seemed to notice me. She gave me a look and then said, "Ron... That's really clever,"
"You're not talking to a troll you know," I snapped aggressively.
Ginny raised her eyebrows and the conversation continued, "I'm writing a letter to mum about it, would you like to say anything Ronald?" She was frustrated with me, she'd used my full name.
"Hi," I said simply. Harry snorted, trying to hold back laughter. Ginny elbowed him in the ribs and Hermione gave me an oppressive stare. She rattled off a few things instead so I didn't have to do all the talking, and then Harry asked whether he could stay over Christmas so he wasn't alone at Hogwarts.
"Ginny have you got any spare paper?" Hermione asked.
"Yea," Ginny said, sealing the envelope.
"Can I have it, and borrow the quill please?"
"Of course," Ginny handed it over, "I'm going to the Owlery and then to dinner, anyone coming?"
Harry then stood up to leave as well, and the two of them left together, holding hands.
"Why did you not go with them?" Hermione asked.
"I'm not hungry, I'd rather stay with you and my daughter anyway,"
"Ron you haven't eaten a thing all day," she emphasised.
"It doesn't matter,"
She realised she wasn't going to win so stopped and starting stroking the top of Willow's head. No hair was coming through as of yet, but soon it would... Will she be ginger?
Time seemed to not matter anymore either. I thought we had sat in silence for about 10 minutes, it turned out to have been over an hour later when there was another knock on the door.
"Who is it this time?" Madam Pomfrey walked briskly down the aisle, her face like thunder. She asked them who it was through the door, not even bothering to open it.
