Hermione's POV

I spent the rest of the holidays sitting in the back garden or on the Weasley Quidditch Pitch reading the books that I had bought from Diagon Alley, including my school books, so I could tell the difference between O.W.L level and N.E.W.T level. It would also give me a start if my morning sickness still persisted and I had to skip lessons.

Ron and Harry have completely made up and they've had a great time playing Quidditch most of the time with Bill and Ginny - much to Fleur's disappointment and much to Ginny's glee.

I received a letter from my mother the other day telling me how sorry she was about how the situation had all turned out. My father was still being stubborn and wouldn't talk to me or help me in anyway, so for now my mother sent me her best wishes for the future. I'm obviously upset about it but Mrs Weasley has taken me under her wing, and she's been giving me lots of medicine to make my pregnancy easier and to help me and my baby on it's way.

But sadly the holiday has to end at some point so on September 1st me, Ginny, Ron and Harry clambered in to the Ministry car that was supplied for Mr Weasley, that would take us to Kings Cross Station. Ron fell over on the way to the car, he wanted a kiss goodbye off Fleur... Me and Ginny saw to it that it would never happen.

We crossed the barrier at 9 and 3/4 and I instantly felt exposed. I was now 6 months pregnant and I'm obviously pretty big. I tried to hide my stomach behind my trolley, but that was taken off me soon enough and I just didn't know what to do. I could hear the whisperings I could see the pointings of fingers too. I'm a quiet girl and this wasn't easy.

Once my trunk had been put on the train I turned and said goodbye to Mr and Mrs Weasley. I had to thank them for everything they had done for me, "Oh not at all," Mrs Weasley responded, "Just be careful and we'll see you all at Christmas with a healthy new arrival as well," for once she looked a little excited about the fact that she was going to be a grandmother.

She then said goodbye to Harry and her children and we all got on to the train together.

The corridors were crowded with people. I had to squeeze to get past them, but everybody watched me go. They all so the round bump that was protruding from my middle. You couldn't miss it.

Ron used his common sense and we all squeezed in to the first compartment we could find, which held Luna and Neville.

"Hello everybody!" Neville greeted everyone excitedly.

"Thank goodness you haven't got you Mimbulus Mimbletonia this year," Harry said.

Neville chuckled, "It's safely packed in my trunk this year,"

"Hermione, you've put on a bit of weight this year, haven't you?" Luna commented dreamily.

We all looked awkwardly at the floor. Ron, who had never liked Luna much, looked as though he was going to punch her.

"Did I say something wrong?" Luna asked, puzzled, "I'm sorry," she hid her face behind her magazine again and we all sat down and talked about our summer.

Ron's POV

I felt awful, I could feel everyone's eyes on Hermione, on her bump and on me as well. Nothing had ever happened like this before and it was a big deal to everyone at Hogwarts, but there was no need. I think Harry got less mutterings when people discovered he was the Chosen One.

Hermione's POV

The train pulled to a stop and I had just finished pulling on my new robes. I had had to get a new school uniform because I had gotten so big and I couldn't fit in to my old ones.
