*1 Month Later*

Harry's POV

Yup, I've done it again. I haven't revised for a test, and I haven't for my O.W.Ls yet and I am finally suffering because of it. I probably haven't been revising because I haven't had Hermione breathing down my neck making sure I got some work done, instead I've had the One Direction lads who like to have a laugh and don't really care about exams... Apart from Liam, so he's been sitting with Hermione, to Ron's annoyance.

This morning when we had gone down to breakfast Professor McGonagall was coming down the Gryffindor table handing out our examination time tables... The exams begin next week which sent us all in to a panicked frenzy about what we were going to do.

My first exam is History of Magic next Monday morning. That is the one that I am dreading the most because over the past five years I have not paid any attention and I have no notes to copy from so I have just accepted that I am going to fail without a doubt.

So for the next week all I am going to be doing is revising and nothing else. Not one game of Wizard Chess... Maybe just one...

*The next day*

Hermione's POV

I went down to breakfast with Ron protectively by my side. He hasn't left me alone since I had that private conversation with Harry and it is starting to annoy me. As usual we walk all the way to the end of the Gryffindor table, passing Neville, Seamus and Dean, and Harry, Ginny and the One Direction boys. I miss them. I miss them all.

We had just sat down for breakfast, I was putting a fried egg on to my plate whilst Ron loaded his with about ten sausages, when Professor McGonagall came over.

"Ah, Miss Granger, I have been waiting for you, may I have a word?" she asked.

"Yes Professor, that's fine," I didn't particularly want to have breakfast anyway.

We started to walk away when Ron stood up to come too, "Not you Weasley, just Miss Granger," McGonagall said and we walked away, Ron looking nervous.

We walked back upstairs towards her office. It was a silent journey, I was wondering what this conversation could be about. I looked down towards my stomach which was starting to grow the tiniest of bumps, which you couldn't see because of my jumper, so McGonagall couldn't have worked it out.

"Take a seat," she said, as we entered her classroom. She took a seat behind her desk and gave me a piercing stare through her spectacles, "How are you Miss Granger?"

I was stunned, "Fine,"

"Well, members of staff have been coming to me and asking me to ask you. Are you okay, Miss Granger?"

"Yes, why wouldn't I be?" I started to feel a little hot.

"Because many members of staff have been coming to me telling me that you have been often late to their lessons over the past few weeks. We do not tolerate lateness at Hogwarts and you know that," she gave me a stern look, "So I am wondering whether you have been skiving off lessons?"

"Oh no, I would never do that Professor, you know me, I take my studies very seriously, and especially approaching my O.W.Ls I would never skive,"

"That's what I thought also, but there seems to be no other explanation... Unless you would like to tell me now,"

"I've been feeling very ill Professor, and I've been having to go to the toilet to vomit," I felt sweat starting to appear on my forehead.

She paused for a long time. I didn't feel that nervous because I was telling the truth, but whether she would believe me...
