Hermione's POV

I was in Potions a couple of weeks after the second task. The champions have been given no information thus far on what is going to happen in the third and final task of the tournament and it's starting to worry me. I don't want Ron to be thrown in to something he hasn't been forewarned of.

I'm in a world of my own because all of a sudden everyone in the class is moving and I don't understand why. I look up and meet Draco's eye. His eyes flit away to look at something else but as he passes my work station he drops a piece of paper on the table. I stare at the back of his head, confused, then grab the paper off the table before anyone sees.

I act as everyone else does, picking up equipment and ingredients while clasping the paper tightly in my hand. Once everyone is immersed in their potion making I unfold the paper under the desk and read what it says:

Meet me in the History of Magic classroom at 6:30pm. If you're worried about being missed it shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes.

With all my love.

Well I knew what plans I had tonight.

***************

I gently knocked on the door of the History of Magic room, Draco was already there, I could see him through the window in the door, leaning against a desk. I know I love Ron and I am over Draco but he looks mighty fine when he stands like that.

He nods for me to enter and I sit on the table opposite him waiting intently for him to speak, but he just stares at me. Once the staring had become awkward I say, "Are you going to speak because soon the 20 minutes will be up and I'll have to go,"

He nods once again and then leans under the table and grabs a guitar, which I hadn't noticed before. He started plucking a few notes and then he started to sing:

"When I look in to your eyes,

It's like watching the night sky,

Or a beautiful sunrise,

There's so much they hold,

And just them old stars,

See that you've come so far

To be right where you are,

How old is your soul,

I won't give up on us,

Even if the skies get rough,

I've given you all my love,

Still looking up.

And when you're needing your space,

To do some navigating,

I'll be here patiently waiting,

To see what you find,

Cause even the stars they burn,

Some even fall to the Earth,

We 've got a lot to learn,

God knows we're worth it,

I don't want to be someone who walks away so easily,

I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make,

Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use the tools

and gifts we got,

Yea, we got a lot at stake,

But in the end you're still my friend,

At least we did intend,

For us to work,

We didn't break we didn't burn,

We had to learn how to bend,

Without the world caving in,

I had to learn what I've got,

What I'm not and

Who I am!

I won't give up on us,

Even if the skies get rough,

I'm giving you all my love,

I'm still looking up,

Still looking up,

I won't give up on us,

God knows I'm tough enough,

We've got a lot to learn,

God knows we're worth it,

I won't give up on us,

Even if the skies get rough,

I'm giving you all my love,

I'm still looking up..."

I was pretty speechless to say the least. He looked up and in to my eyes and said, "To be honest I don't want to hear what you've got to say, that song said all I had to say but there's a little bit more in my eyes. I want you to test Willow. I won't give up on her being my daughter until you tell me that she isn't and I won't give up on you either. If the baby is Ron's I'll let go of Willow, but you are still my shining star, I love you and I always will,"

With that he picked up his guitar and walked out the room.

And I burst in to tears.

**********

It was some days later and I had come to a decision. I was climbing the stairs of the owlery, a package in my hand which was being sent to a muggle doctor. I had to admit that I was curious about who the father was but I also didn't want to leave Draco hanging on about whether Willow was his child. I didn't know what I would tell Ron if Willow wasn't his, but we'll build a bridge when we get to that.

I pick a school owl from the many that line the walls and attach the package securely to it's leg, "Be careful," I whisper before I let the bird leave the window.

My future, my destiny lay with those results. Now it was time to wait.

A/N

I am very sorry for lack of updates and I'm sorry this is a short chapter but I'll make it up to you soon.

The bad news is that this fanfic is nearly over:'( I've had such a good time writing this one and it's prequel and I can't believe it's nearly over. I feel as though my writing skills have developed and improved as a result and I want to thank every single person who has read this book and supported me through them both.

My plan is to finish this fanfic, finish my One Direction one and whilst finishing those I will be planning and starting a new Harry Potter based fanfic! I'm really excited for this one and can't wait to get started... Then I think I might move on to my own original novel, eeek.

Of course whilst writing my own original I will post a fanfic because I know some fans prefer originals, some prefer fanfics and I want to make sure everyone is happy!

Thank you again, and hopefully the last few chapters will be coming your way soon because my Easter holiday starts next week (it's 2 weeks long!) and I'll have loads of time.

Speak to you all again soon,

Heather xxxx
