On her way back to the dorm upon finishing her morning class, Soyi felt her phone vibrating in her bag.
"Jongho-ah, is everything okay?"
She had liked the fact that the younger had gotten a lot more comfortable with her since their first meeting.
"Ah, noona. Am I interrupting you from anything?"
Soyi couldn't lie. His angelic voice was a blessing to anyone listening.
"No no. I just finished my class. Do you need anything?" She mentally face-palmed for the slightly long pause of her answer.
"I enrolled in the library seminar for referecing skill and they told me to get my office 365 set up. Whom do I contact to get my code?" Jongho asked in his usual tentative tone.
"Ahh, that's easy. You can do it yourself from home. I will email you the procedure. But, I am not home yet"
They talked a bit more after agreeing that Soyi would email the younger later. After hanging up, Soyi continued her walk home as she mentally reminded herself to sent Jongho the email.

Around dinner time, Soyi's two best friends had facetimed her.
"I don't like Mr. Ahn. Too many tasks for one semester" Younha sulked as she spoke about her lecturer.
"I have tons of assignments too. I even cancel movie with Joong because of my deadline tomorrow" Mihee stated with a sigh.
"I finished my work for this week but I do have one due next week that I haven't started" Soyi was equally unexcited about the assignments they started getting.
"Argh. Enough with assignments. How are things with Wooyoung?" Younha startled Soyi. Her friend knew more than to let her get away.
"Yahh Song Soyi, did you tell him yet?" Younha asked impatiently
Soyi was hesitant for a split second before she caved in and told them what happened two days ago.
She had been at the cafe with Wooyoung again and they were talking about a festival that he had planned to go to. When her phone beeped of a message from Jongho, she had excused to reply to her mentee.
When she was done, Wooyoung had asked him whom she was texting and if it was a guy. To which Soyi replied just the junior she was mentoring. What he said next still confused Soyi even at that moment.
"So, he told you that a guy would be lucky to have you?" Mihee who had been listening in silence finally spoke up.
"Wait, does it mean he likes you?" Younha cut in.
"Umm, I am not sure. What if he meant any guy but him?" Soyi prayed this was not the case.
"Love, I think you are overthinking everything again. We had talked about this." Soyi's bestfriends undoubtedly knew her well and for Mihee to say that, it was very much true.
Younha and Mihee had made Soyi promise to tell Wooyoung about her feelings soon. They had a point, eventhough she was admittedly concerned about the boy avoiding her should he not return her feelings.
Soyi needed to let it out. Not only for the sake of getting an answer to her feelings, but also for the sake of her friendship. It would be a terrible thing if he found out on the wrong timing and thought bad of her.
As they spoke some more, Soyi remembered about the email she was meant to do.
"Girls, give me a second. I forgot to email Jongho." She quickly went to grab her laptop.
"Who is Jongho? Your classmate?" Younha asked.
"No, he's the guy I mentor." She responded, face still glued at the screen.
"You have been hanging out with him a lot. Didn't you say you went to karaoke together?" Mihee remembered Soyi texting them about it.
"Yeah we did. He is actually very nice. He's a fun partner for karaoke too. Boy sings like an angel" Soyi answered, done with her email.
"If I hadn't known better, I would have said you like that young boy" Younha was being cheeky again.
"Yahhh, he is a junior" Soyi was shocked at her friend's remark.
Younha and Mihee eventually let go of the Jongho topic. It did, however, put some thoughts in her head. She knew for a fact that compared to other mentor-mentees, they had communicated a lot more comfortably.
Also, despite Jongho calling her noona, she had never excerted seniority on their relationship. She had always seen him as a friend from school who wss fun to be around. He just happened to be younger.
