When morning came, Soyi was all smiles. That day was the day of her date with Wooyoung. She blasted some music as she cooked herself some breakfast. Her mind was occupied with thoughts on the many options of outfit combo she wanted to check. She did wanted to look her best. Who could blame her? She had had a crush on the boy since the beginning of last semester.

As she sat down and ate her breakfast, she couldn't help but reminisced about the first time she had seen Wooyoung. It was on one of their assignment tutorials. He had came not long after she had taken a seat. Soyi was awestruck, for lack of better word. The boy had an enchanting face that just charmed anyone who looked his way. And, our girl was one of those.

To her lucky stars, the handsome boy had taken a seat in front of Soyi, allowing her to admire his impeccable features. 'Dear goodness, how is someone so beautiful?' she remembered thinking. How she had managed to finished an entire semester not being obvious about her feelings to him, she did not know.

No, she was not that shy type. But, if there's anything she learned from that one relationship she had had in the past, a boy could be charming like a prince one day but they could also look at you like you hadn't mean much the next day.

What she learned after spending a whole semester with Wooyoung, however, assured her that he would not be that type. Thus, her decision to confess had been a hope filled longing, decorated with smiles of excitement and nervousness of uncertainty.

Soyi shook all negative thoughts out of her head as she she stood to do her dishes. She had a hair appointment to go to. She was due for a trim and she had booked a care treatment as well.

The time she had spent at the hair salon was pretty much spent talking to Mihee and Younha on the phone. Those two had decided to check on how her preparation for the afternoon went. Soyi admitted that talking to them had eased out the nervousness in her.

The day eventually went by and Soyi was already on her way to her date. It didn't take long before she arrived at the cinema which was full of people. She took a look around and noticed many high school couples. She smiled, the warmth of high school memories washing over her.

Less than 10 minutes later, Wooyoung showed up. He had on a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a loose fitting black blazer. He had worn his glasses too, which Soyi had always liked. To say he was stunning would be an understatement. Her palms were suddenly clammy as she saw him approaching.

"Soyi-ah, did you wait for long?" Wooyoung asked as he greeted her with a hug.

"No. Maybe 10 minutes. Movie won't start for another 15." Soyi muttered as she let go of the boy's warm embrace. Deep inside, she was praying she won't ruin anything.

"Wanna grab some popcorn and drinks?" Wooyoung offered to which she nodded.

When they got their order, the movie was about to start and they rushed to the designated seats. The movie started after a couple ads. They immediately were immersed into the movie. However, Soyi couldn't help but stole a few glances at the boy next to her. She was so delighted to be seeing him up close like this. Not to mention the mild woody/vanilla scent coming from him was an addiction she could get into.

When the movie ended, they waited for people on the rows in front of them to go first.
"Do you have a place in mind for dinner?" Wooyoung asked as they exitted the cinema.

"I saw a chicken place over there if you want" Soyi pointed to the row of restaurants across the cinema.
With the boy's approval, they headed there.

Once they finished ordering, Soyi decided the timing was perfect.
"Wooyoung, there's something I have been meaning to tell you" she started, eyes not leaving the boy's face.

"Really? What is it?" His eyes were on her, laced with curiosity.

"I have had a crush on you since the beginning of last semester" There was no going back at this point.
