When Soyi exited campus centre, the sun was on its peak. It was scorching hot and even the faint whoosh of wind only blew more heat instead of freshness. She was a mere few steps away from the building when her phone rang.

"Hey, I am just finished with the mentoring. I'm heading there now" she immediately addressed the person on the phone as she clutched her bag and hurried her steps.

"Take your time, Princess. I just got here." She could almost see him smiling through the phone.

"Yahhh. Stop doing that. You know I don't like it" Soyi pouted at the nickname. "I will be there in 5" she half shouted to her phone

Truth to be told, Soyi didn't hate the nickname. She just didn't like the way her heart responded to the nickname while he might have not meant it. 'Get it together, Soyi. You don't wanna ruin this' she whispered to herself as she opened the door to the cafe she has known so well.

"Soyi!!!" He shouted and waved frantically, startling her.

"Yahhh!!!" Soyi hissed as she looked around and bowed apologetically.

As usual, when she joined him, he had her favorite iced coffee ready for her. She took a sip in an attempt to calm down.

"How was the mentoring, did you meet a cutie? Or maybe a hottie? Come spill" he was too enthusiastic for someone who claimed to have a jetlag.

"Let me breathe, will you? One, it was fine. Two, it was a guy. Three, he is indeed cute" Soyi put down her drink and looked at him in the eyes.

Her hearts might be racing, but she managed to mask the shakiness in her voice as she spoke. She had missed him after two whole months of break. Right that moment, there's nothing more she wanted than to just reach out to hold his hands.

Shaking the thoughts off of her head, she tried to focus her attention to their conversation. At least, she could cherish these moments with him. Seeing him laugh with those sparkly eyes as he recounted his holiday was enough for Soyi. She couldn't lose this for something that's uncertain.

Still with hazy mind of conflicting thoughts, Soyi walked back to her dorm. She did stop to grab some snacks at the minimart not so far from the cafe. She made sure to get Mihee and Younha their favorite drinks too. Their sleepover had always been fun, full of giggles and playful smacks as they talk over food or movies.

When she reached her dorm building, she immediately recognised the silver car parking in front of the entrance. She smiled as she saw Mihee standing by the driver door, leaning on the window, obviously talking to her boyfriend.

"Ehemmm, you guys better not be kissing here" she joked as she got closer which took her friend by surprise.

"Yahh!!! We were just talking" Mihee replied upon recovering.

"OMG I missed you! We have a lot to talk about" she jumped and gave Soyi a long tight squeeze of a hug.

"Hi, Joong! Did she talk your ear off yet?" Soyi said to Hongjoong, who only chuckled seeing his girlfriend's behavior.

"Hey, Soyi. She did. But it's your turn soon" arms crossed and leaning to the window of the car, Hongjoong tried to suppress a giggle. Mihee directed a playful stare at him as she squeezed her friend tighter.
"I am right here, you know" Mihee sulked.

"Yeah. Unfortunately" Soyi loved clowning her.

"Alright. I'm gonna leave you girls to have fun. Try not to get wasted." Hongjoong said before starting his car and waved goodbye.

The two girls stood there till his car disappeared from the gate. Soyi being the first one to speak after.

"Have you waited for long?" She asked, scanning her card on the door.

"Not that long. I was going to call you after Joong left but then you came. Where were you?" Mihee asked as they walked towards the elevator.
"I met my mentee. He had arrived yesterday."

They chit-chatted till they reached Soyi's dorm and decided to call Younha to join them soon. She was more than excited to announce she was only a few minutes walk from the dorm.

Younha lived very close to the campus. Her house being one stop away from campus had been a huge advantage for her. Mihee, on the other hand, used to drive to campus till her boyfriend pretty much take over that task from her. However, they hung out at Soyi's dorm a lot and it had practically been their base camp.
