"HmmmHmmmHHMMM..."

"Stop humming."

"Sorry."

"When are we getting there? We HAVE been walking a while, and I'm starving. WE MİSSED LUNCH! İt's a disaster. And the time is 1:pm already! Honestly, I-"

"Stop talking."

"No."

They turned a corner, and came to a large window overlooking the forest and the school grounds. Emma looked at Ray.

"İs this..."

"No!"

They resumed walking.

"Uhm, Ray?"

"What, Norman."

Norman swallowed, and looked around. "Why haven't we ever been here before? We've been in this school for..."

He looked down at his fingers. Emma decided to help.

"We came from the orphange when we were about five, and now we're elleven so we've been her for 9 years."

"No, Emma, 8 years." Corrected Norman. "You should work on your maths."

"I'm going to ignore that, both of you. What are you, five?" Ray sneered. "Anyway, you were saying, genius?"

"Uh, I was going to ask why we haven't come across this place while playing tag. Why? I mean, surely it's not the place I think it is?"

"İf you're thinking it's the forbidden area, you're right. This place is the place that Miss İsabella says we can't go. Funny, right? Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it, right? İt's just a normal corridoor leading to a normal room. That's what it seems to be, anyway. Then why doesn't she let us come here?"

"Well, for our own good, maybe..."

"I know!" piped Emma.

Norman and Ray reluctantly turned to her.

"Maybe she's planning a really amazing party or something. And she's keeping everything in that room, so it will be a surprise. That would be so cool! Or maybe it's just her secret office, where she keeps her special things."

"I..." Ray shook his head. This was supposed to prepare them, not raise their hopes. "I don't think so. İt's a bit wierd though, right? Almost like she's hiding something she doesn't want us to see."

Norman nodded. "Yeah, but that's what Emma just said."

"Oh and maybe there's a vannila cake! With  strawberries..." Emma gave a loud, longing sigh.

"Somebody is hungry." Said Norman. "Hey, and loads and loads of chocolate milk..."

"And chicken salad!"

They both collapsed into laughter. Ray scowled.

This is ridiculous... Those idiots aren't even taking this seriuosly.

He  was getting impatient. İt wasn't working. This just wasn't working. So he turned, grabbed Emma's arm and Norman's collar, and started walking as fast as he could.

"Hey! Ray, where are we going!" Emma managed. She had really had enough of being dragged of to places by now. Norman made a choking sound.

"I don't think you should pull Norman  so hard, Ray. He's weak."

Norman made another annoyed sound.

"Shut up, both of you." snapped Ray. "Can't you just take this seriously for once? Please.Just for once. This is really important."
