"Okay we should probably get out of here now. Right, Norman?"
"Yeah. That's right. We should leave, come on."
Emma crouched on the floor, and nodded. "I'm ready, you got it." She beamed, then her smile faded.
"Though I might need medical attention."
"What?" Ray sighed. "We gave you medical attention. You have a plaster."
"But...But..."
"Get up, Emma."
"But I want a hug." Sniffed Emma.
Ray groaned. Norman stifled a laugh, and shrugged. "I do too."
Emma nodded. "Hug, Ray."
"No."
"Hug. Now."
"NO!"
"Hug."
Norman stepped over, and pulled Emma to her feet. "How about you just apologize, Emma, and you to, Ray. You really insulted us."
"I'm deeply sorry, really really seriously sorry."
"Me too." Laughed Emma.
"We should make a plan beforfe we go to our room. So I'll point out the basics, and you two listen."
Emma put an arm around Norman and lunged for Ray's hand, but he pulled away. Norman continued.
"So the murderer thinks Emma's dead. Trump card. Luck. We can distract her while Emma goes and looks in her office for imformation..."
Ray shoved Emma away, and Norman helped her stay upright.
"İf Emma finds anything, she comes straight to the library, where me and Ray will wait."
Emma grinned as she grabbed Ray's collar, and pulled him towards her and Norman.
"Then..." Norman realized his friends weren't listening when Ray tackled Emma to the ground and left her there. "Can we focus, please?"
"Ray's not giving me a huuuuuggg!" Wined Emma.
Norman sighed.
