Chapter Seven

As we step off the generous sized ship and onto the dock I can already see Killua getting excited. He moves from a steady walk to a heavy jog making me keep up. We run to the side of the island and up a hill to meet glance with a boy with black hair and green highlights. 'The same height as me, maybe he's my age too.' Killua and I finally make it up the steep path and I met eyes with-
"GON!!"
_"KILLUUAAA"
"This is Y/N, the one I told you about."
_"Hi, I'm Gon nice to meet you Y/N"
-"Good to meet you too, I've heard a lot of fun things about you!"
_"I hope I live up to what Killua's said about me, or at least the good parts." Gon says with a lively chuckle.
-"Thank you so much for letting me come along with Killua, let me know If I overstay."
_"No worries! A friend of Killua's is a friend of mine."

I look over at Killua blushing, but before I can get a good look he's already entering the house. Gon motions me to come in and he follows me in. I am then greeted with a middle aged beautiful woman.
*"Is this your new friend Gon?" She says with a warm smile in her eyes.
_"Yes, Killua brought them along. Their name is Y/N."
*"Well nice to meet you Y/N, and Gon make sure you treat them well."
_"Yes Aunt Mito."

As the conversation bleeds out Gon takes me upstairs to his room where Killua is already making himself home. As I step in the doorway I get a whiff of fresh forest and sea salt. 'Smells like a real home.' Killua picks himself off the ground, grabs my arm and pulls me to the window. He opens it then exits through, Gon then follows him leaving me the last one out. It's dark by now, having the moon and stars fill light into our eyes as we look up. I lay down on the roof, Killua sitting up next to me and Gon next to Kil. Killua's hands are facing down, holding himself up right. Feeling left out I sit up right as well, as soon as I do I accidentally move my hands on top of Killua's. He flinches in surprise but then slowly moves his hand back to where it was. His body warmth feels ten times hotter than before, I start to feel myself start to get more nervous. I look over in Killua's direction because I start to hear shuffling noises near the end side of the roof. I see Gon start to get up.
"I'm going to grab futons for the both of you to sleep on."

As he gets up Killua moves over towards me so that Gon has room to move back to inside the house. As he does I can feel all his body heat on me from head to toe. Although he got very close, he hasn't looked at me since we've been here. Then I start to think how he hasn't said a word to me since he introduced me to Gon. That makes me want to scream, there's so many mixed emotions going through me when I think about this boy, 'Why? Why am I like this?' I turn to Killua, I don't know what reason I'm doing this for but I think I need to. I leave my mouth open ready to say something but nothing comes out, he turns to me. "Killua..." I say in a quiet tone waiting for him to look at me in the eyes. He still hasn't faced to look in my direction, without thinking I move my hand to his jaw to make him look at me. He looks scared, his face quickly changes to have a hint of serotonin in his eyes. He leans in closer, everything moving in slow motion. I can feel his warm breath on my cool skin, he kisses me.
