Chapter Ten

             Opening my eyes and waking up from the blinding iridescent rays of sunlight I hear birds chirping and dogs barking. I sit up realizing that I was the only one awake, at least that's what I thought. I plopped back down and turn to my side remembering that Killua and I had slept in the same bed as each other. Killua is still asleep quietly like an angel, I can't help but just stare. His hair looks imperfectly perfect along with his breathtaking smile. The grin on his face was contagious and made me feel a shock through my body, 'I've never really gotten butterflies before I met him.'

The feeling wakes me up even more so I jump out of bed hoping it wakes one of them up so I didn't have to. Before checking if they woke up I went to the bathroom to fix my hair, then I went downstairs to see if Mito-san was up. She greeted me right away with a plate of pancakes, fruit and orange juice. Mito-san also asked me if any of the boys were up and if they weren't I should go and wake them up for breakfast. Feeling polite I quickly agreed and pranced upstairs. Turning the knob and opening the door makes me nervous out of nowhere. I crack the door ajar to see both of them sitting on the ground talking, I get embarrassed so I quickly tell them that Aunt Mito made breakfast and ran downstairs. On my way down I put my hair up and out of my face so that it would be easier to eat.

After a few minutes both Gon and Killua lollygagged down the stairs to the table where Mito-san and I were sitting. Gon turned to me then shifted his eyes to Killua then back to me. He made a face that resembled excitement. I shake my head to nod him off, I look down at my plate and I realize that I'm missing my fruit. I look over to Killua because he was sitting next to me and I find him with a mouth full of strawberries and kiwi. Everyone at the table bursts out laughing and finishes up the meal. Killua Gon and I say thank you as we head back upstairs. I turn around and asked Mito-san if she needed any help and she said I could help with the dishes. After I finish I rush upstairs to catch up on what I missed while doing chores.

Going back into Gon's room both are talking again, Killua turns to me.

"Want to go look around the island today?"

-"Yeah! That sounds like a lot of fun."

_"Great! I have some shorts if you want to borrow them." Saying that he pulls out green short shorts out of his dresser.

-"I think i'll pass on that, I can just wear what I wore yesterday."

_"Suit yourself. These are really good hunting shorts."

"Yeah Yeah, want to get some lunch first? If we walk to the cafe it'll be lunchtime by the time we get there."

_"Yes! That sounds like a good idea, you up for it Y/N?"

-"For sure, let's go! I'm dying to see the island."

Walking down the stairs Gon lets Aunt Mito know that we will be exploring for the day and for her not to worry about us. *"Well just make sure to be safe, especially with Y/N, I actually like them." I chuckle while walking out the front door with the two others. Killua grabs my hand and tells me the direction we're going to go in. Looking at Killua and seeing him happy is a different feeling of content. When he turns back he realizes that I was staring, Killua gives me a quick peck on the lips and the three of us are off on our first adventure.
