Chapter Nineteen

I feel an arm lightly squeeze around my neck waking me up in an instant. I jolt up out of bed to find Killua laughing at me.

Killua: "Hey at least you have quick reflexes."

Y/N: "Yeah right."

After settling down Killua turns his body to reach his phone. I hop back on bed to snoop over his shoulder, he opens his texts from Gon.

Killua: "Oh no way!"

Y/N: "What? What's going on?"

Killua: "Some of Gon and my friends are here and they wanted to meet up with us."

Y/N: "Oh how did you all meet?"

Killua: "At the Hunter Exam actually, the two of them passed along with Gon."

Y/N: "So I'll get to meet them! What're their names?"

Killua: "The oldest is Leorio, he's 19. He's pretty annoying but good to have around I guess.The other one is Kurapika and he's 18 now. He can be a bit of a smart ass but pretty chill too."

Y/N: "They seem nice! Do you know when they'll be here?"

Killua: "No it doesn't look like Gon says when-"

Gon: "No! Just wait a second, Leorio!"

Leorio: "Hey Kil- oh. Who's this Killua?" He says with a smirk walking into the room.

Kurapika: "Leorio be respectful."

Leorio: "Hey, I'm just wondering why there is a girl in Killua's bed before I get one in my bed."

Killua: "Will you just shut up old man! Plus they shouldn't have to be attacked as soon as you walk into the room!"

Y/N: "Kil it's fine, really."

He turns over in frustration but the subtle smile on my face directed towards him calms him down.

Killua: "Okay, can you just give us a couple minutes. We'll meet up with you guys in Gon's room."

Kurapika: "Sounds good, oh and nice to meet you."

Y/N: "Y/N and it's really good to meet you too."

Leorio and Kurapika walk out with Gon behind them. Gon looks at me and gestures that he apologizes for Leorio, I let out a small laugh. I change my clothes and wait for Killua to do so as well. Once he does, we head over to Gon's room. We walk in and Killua immediately sits on the chair to the left. I follow and make room for myself on the chair sitting right next to him. I can tell he blushes but turns his head downwards so no one else would be able to tell.

Gon: "So what should we do together?"

Kurapika: "Are there any good fights in Heavens Arena today?"

Leorio: "Yeah I think Hisoka might be! It would be cool for Y/N to see how he fights."

Y/N: "Yeah I actually think that it would be helpful."

Killua: "Why would it be helpful?"

Y/N: "Oh I don't really know why I said that." Gon turns his head to me realizing that I still haven't mentioned having to fight Hisoka soon.

Gon: "Hey is it okay if I talk to you Y/N real quick."

Y/N: "Oh um sure!" We step outside the hotel room.

Gon: "You haven't told Killua yet?"

Y/N: "Not exactly, see I just don't want him to be mad."

Gon: "He'll get more mad the longer you keep it from him." The hotel door opens, we both turn our heads.

Killua: "Hey what's going on out here?" Gon gives me a look then heads back in the room leaving the hallway.

Y/N: "I have something I need to tell you."

Killua: "What? What is it?"

Y/N: "So when Hisoka captured me and took me to Heavens Arena he told me that we had to fight next month."

Killua: "You're joking. Right?"

Y/N: "I couldn't stop him! Do you think you could train me?"

Killua: "I think I have to. If the worst comes to worst we won't show up but I have a feeling if we do a no-show he might come after us again. After today we need to start training."

Y/N: "Killua I'm sorry." He brings me close, holding me in a warm embrace.

Killua: "Don't worry, we'll be fine." We then walk back into the room with our heads both held high.

Leorio: "I just found out that the fight that Hisoka's in is pretty soon, so we should head over.

Kurapika: "Okay! Let's go."

We then all head out of the hotel to Heavens Arena.
