Back to Karly's POV!

It was the same exact god damn car.

Everything. The color, the style, the type. I never thought that Liam and my brother would have the same taste in cars. Liam may be incredibly annoying, that I will admit, but overall he seems like a pretty good guy. Where my brother was a complety different story, to say the least.

Liam swung his legs out of the car to go fill the gas just as my phone rang. I pulled it out, didn't bother to look at the caller id and said, "Hello?"

No one answered.

"Heeeellllooo?" I repeated.

A choke, and then, "Hey baby sis."

My blood ran cold.

I hadn't spoken to my brother since a week after the accident, where he said nothing to me. At all. Nada.

"Hi Jake."

I heard him breathing heavily. "Mom told me that you're in London?"

"Yeah. I am."

A laugh, then, "Why the hell are you in London?"

I laughed too, despite not wanting to. "Mom thought that it would be best to-" Liam's head popped into the car and he flashed me a smile. "You know Karly," Liam said, "It's dark at here. You sure you don't wanna help?"

"Go fill up the damn tank," I responded, causing him to chuckled and go back outside.

"Are you with a boy?" Jake asked.

"Yeah, and you don't control who I'm with anymore so you can't say anything about it."

"I wasn't planning on it."

"Good. Now I gotta go."

"But baby sis-" I hung up the phone just as Liam slid back into the car.

"Who were ya talking to?" he asked, not reallly sounding suspious, just curious.

"My brother. Are you finnaly done?"

"Yes, Miss Inpatient. We're about ten more minutes from your flat, so I guess you're stuck with me for a little longer."

"Joy."

Liam put on the windsheild wipers. "It's snowing really hard," he commented.

"Yup. It sure is. Now can we please go?"

"Yeah, yeah, okay." Liam pulled out of the gas station and I caught a glimpse of a damp road, casting the sight of snow-or could it be rain-just below a street light sending me tumbling back into a memory.

The wind rustled against the cold October air, and leaves fell.

I fell back in the seat.

"Karly, how far away is this place?"

"Lauren," I whispered from a far away land of reality that I was no longer apart of.

"Ight Karlaaayy."

"Cody! Cody!"

"We don't need you two getting preganant during our joy ride."

"Ready?"

"Are you sure this is a good idea?"

Soooo tempting.

"Karly, keep your belt on."

I floored the gas petal.

"Stop!!!"

She dreamed of Para-Para-Paradise! Every time she closed her eyes!

Turning.

Flipping.

Screaming.

"Get Cody! GET CODY!"

His neck.

I screamed, a sound so shattering that it could have broke glass, cut through flesh, and eat at any heart.

The car was parked at the side of a road and someone was shaking me.

I could see the snow fluttering down in the background and brown eyes.

"Karly! Karly! Karly are you okay?"

I blinked and realized that my cheeks were wet. "I'm f-f-ine."

Liam didn't look so sure. "What happened?"

"Nothing." He wouldn't stop looking at me like that. "Nothing, Liam. I was just thinking about an old memory."

"Who's Lauren? And Cody?"

"What?"

"You were saying their names."

"Just old friends that I left behind in the states. I miss them is all. Don't worry about it."

Liam scoffed. "It's kind of hard not to worry about it when the girl I'm driving home starts to scream at the top of her lungs like she's being stabbed, Karly."

"I'm fine Liam. Can you please just drive me home?"

He frowned. "I don't think that's gonna happen."

"And why not?"

"All the roads are blocked. I think we're gonna have to stay at a motel for the night.

Note: Sorry for taking so damn long to update. I've been busy with stuff. I STILL have to do my science experiment before school starts again...which is on monday. Sorry that this chapter is kinda short. I don't now if the way that I wrote it was confusing, but basically all that happened was Karly talked to her brother, Jake, who is played by Zac Efron (pic over there>>>) and had a flashback of the night that Cody died. Oh, and the roads are blocked so Liam and Karly have to stay in a motel. Alone. God Im dirty.

Okay, well byee! I WANTED to go on a run but now I have to watch my brother:( maybe I will later. SEE YAAA!
