Today is the day of the ball, I have long awaited for.

Breakfast always seems better when you have something to look forward to. It's as my happiness salted my meal.

''Master, is there any specific reason you're grinning at your eggs?'' William asks.

''Oh, um, no. I just really like the eggs here. That's all.'' I lie.

''That's good.''

That's embarrassing. I didn't think I looked like a psycho path, staring at his prey. I must have startled William, he looked very worried. No need to worry William, I'm just going to meet Ciel for the first time today, I swear I'm not planning on killing anyone.

After breakfast, I decide to talk to William about something. Maybe, he can be helpful.

''William, may I ask you something?'' I ask.

''Anything.''

''Have you ever had a significant other?'' I ask, immediately feeling regret.

''The closest to a significant other I've ever had is, Grell. And, that should say a lot. Why do you ask, if I may?''

''No specific reason, just out of pure curiosity.''

An awkward silence fills the hotel room. I feel as if I should have asked Grell or even Elizabeth. At least, they would have a better answer. I just think Grell is the type of person who goes from man to man, it's just a hunch. And, Elizabeth always seems to know about ''cute'' things, including cute couples. Both of them would have been more helpful than William.

''Master, sit still.''

''I can't,it's so uncomfortable!'' I whine.

''It's just a tie sir, the sooner you get it on, the sooner we can leave for the ball.''

I stop whining and deal with the comfortableness of the tie, being wrapped around my neck. My attire consist of, black dress shoes, black dress pants, a black button up shirt, and a black formal jacket, all topped off with a red tie, that stands out of from the whole outfit. William said, that red was the color for passion and love so, I just went along.

I am too adrenalized to even stand still. How can I keep myself come, when I am going to meet Ciel? I'm acting like a child but, I have lost all concern of myself.

For the first time, in such a long time, my heart is skipping beats. I also, feel nervous. I feel anxious.

William and I walk out into the carriage awaited for us. William helps me in, even though I am plenty capable of doing it myself. He climbs in, on the opposite side. I stare out the window, to view the people out side in the town. I wonder if that brat is somewhere lurking.

William informed me that the ride should be around twenty minutes. And even though it is such a short ride, I fell asleep on the way there.

I am awoken by William.

''Master, you look ever indecent. Wake up. We have arrived.''

I open my eyes and see the manor before my eyes. It is such a beautiful manor, almost breath taking. The manor had brick walls, with vines hanging along the sides. The garden complimented the house, sunflowers. It set a welcoming feeling, such as the hotel did.

As we walk out of the carriage, I hear an unknown voice calling my name, cheerfully. It seems to be the host of this ball. Remember you manners, Sebastian.

''Oh, Sebastian! How good it is to see you. I haven't seen you since you were born.''

''It is also so good to see you!'' I say to the current stranger.

''You don't remember me, do you dear?''

''I'm terribly sorry.''

''Don't worry. Here, I shall introduce myself. I am Madam Red.''

I always thought Ciel's master was male. Who else's gender can I get wrong? Soon, the girly Meyrin, will surprisingly be a male. I need to pay attention to detail in Ciel's letters.

''I am Sebastian, thank you dearly for inviting me to this lovely ball. And, your house and garden is as beautiful as a garden can be.''

''You like it? This is just the front garden, Ciel put simple flowers in the front, in the back is much more flowers.''

''Then, I'll make sure I go see them.''

''Enjoy yourself.''

I walk away, with William stalking behind me.

Inside the ball is surprising. The table cloths were plastered purple, complemented with white roses in vases on top of them. The chairs were a simple white steel, with purple cushions. It was simple but, pretty.

There were many noble women and men dancing, eating, talking to each other. I see a servant, Blonde hair that was held back with red pins, wearing a stray hat with yellow plaid shorts and a white shirt. He isn't very dressed to be serving a ball. But, according to the letters, that must be Finnian, the small but, strong male. Also, he was a gardener.

He looks so nervous, it's almost comical. I watch him try to carefully hand the men and women refreshments. Poor boy.

I walk towards the food, that was spread out, beautifully. It was a wide variety of meats, vegetables, exotic fruits, wine, and the fanciest bread I could think of. I notice a man behind the table. I look up to another blonde man but, his hair was more messy. He was wearing a white button down shirt, with the sleeves rolled up. His white apron covered most of his shirt and his pants were also white. He almost looked like a bride, the thought made me giggle a little. He had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, surely he knows how bad he is making his master look. That must be Bard, the chief.

I see a lovely lady, she almost looks identical to the lady in the shop from yesterday. She was wearing a blue dress, with black tight underneath. At least, she dressed up for the occasion. She was cleaning some dirt that was on the floor. She looked very troubled doing so. That must be Meyrin, the maid.

I look over my shoulder to see an awkward man. He was wearing to what appeared, a butler's suit. He had scaly skin, almost like a snake's. His hair was white as snow. The one thing that concerned me was, the snake he had wrapped around his neck, I hear him address the snake as Oscar. So, that must be Snake, the animal carer.

Out of all these servants, I can't find Ciel. Where could she be?

I look through people, trying to ignore the noble women that are flaunting themselves at me. And, somehow in between all this I lost William. He must had been distracted by Meyrin's glasses. The amount of people in this ball seems to be increasing, or it may just be my imagination.

If all the other servants are out working, then Ciel should be working too.

I feel someone pump into me. I had to look down to see who it was.

The boy looked almost twelve. His skin was creamy and pale, his eye was blue, his eyelashes were full and long. His one eye was covered by a black eye patch. His hair was navy blue. His face looked gloomy and lonely, he kept a slight frown upon his face. His body was small and slim but, still appealing. Even though he was male, he still seemed attractive. But, most importantly, he was the brat from yesterday.
