Madam Red escorted William and I into our rooms. While so, all the lively servants, besides Ciel, decided to join us. They seemed excited that someone was staying at their manor, almost too excited. Especially the maid, Meyrin. She had a red face the whole time and kept on mumbling about something to herself. I couldn't make it out exactly.
When I was finally brought to my room, I quickly shut the door behind me. I need a minute to breath. This manor is much more lively than mine.
I look at the room and am honestly amazed. The walls are a sky blue but, it looks as if someone painted clouds the walls. The carpet is white, along with the bed stand and dresser. The blanket is a light blue, much like the wall. It's like being in the sky. I sigh in relief.
I hear a slight knock on my door. Please don't tell me it's one of the servants.
I open the door to see Ciel.
''Hello.'' He says, sounded as intimidating as ever.
''Come in.'' I say.
He walks in.
''Is there something you need to talk about?'' I ask.
''Not in particular, I just wanted to talk.'' He says, blankly.
He's so different from the letters, he's a completely different person. In the letters he always seemed for joyful and content but, he seems so lifeless and doleful.
''So, how is working here?'' I ask.
''Fine.''
''Oh. So, how have you been?''
''Fine.''
''I've been good. The company is doing good. Alot of work though.''
''I'm sure.''
For a person who wanted to talk, he doesn't talk much.
''Is something wrong?'' I ask.
''No, what would make you say that?''
''You just seem bothered.''
''Oh.''
I think I should ask him what I've been wondering.
''Hey, Ciel. Not trying to say anything rude or anything but,you seem completely different than the letters.''
''Am I?''
''Yes. How about we go for a walk in the garden? The room is stuffy.''
''Okay.''
We walk out of the manor and into the beautiful garden, which I am sure Ciel has tended to. I never gave it a good glance at first but, giving it another look, it really is a sight. The colorful patterns, the different types of beautiful flowers spread out evenly, the fragrance they send off.
Ciel motions me to sit down on a near by bench. I sit down, making sure I don't sit too close to him. I don't want to make him uncomfortable.
''You really like flowers, don't you?'' I ask.
''I suppose. Once I lost my parents and moved here, I felt almost and utterly alone. The flowers became my security blanket. They help me relax and comfort me. It is silly but, I don't mind. At least I'm not some swine loathing over pain.''
''Not to salt a wound but, how was it like to go though what you went through? In all the letters, you always described it so vaguely.''
''It felt humiliating and painful. I wanted to seek my revenge on who ever did this to me. But, sadly, I don't have the power to do so. I know that and have accepted it. I know that one day my life may be ended by the same people that ended my parents. I know what happen, changed me dramatically. But, I've become a better person because of it. And, I know many people hate me because of who I am. I can't blame them. Not that I care though.''
''You know, even though you act like a brat to outsiders, I know you have a heart. I know how you treat people, from experience. I think, that you push everyone away because, you don't want them to know the real you. But, you're much more than you think you are. We have been writing to one another for three years and I know you like the back of my hand. I know that you can care for others, you just choose not to. I'm just happy you let me in these past three years. You've helped me get through alot.''
''You know, when my mother first proposed the idea of writing to you,I cried.'' He snickered.
''Hey! What was so bad about writing to me?'' I reply, jokely.
''I remember thinking, I didn't want to write to some little brat. It turns out it was the other way around.''
''Yes, I guess. I am just a little taller than you.''
''A little?'' A little smirk grows on his face, making me smile.
''You could be taller than me!''
''Are you serious? I have to look up to see you!''
''I don't know, I think you're just imagining things. You're obviously taller.''
''Here, back to back. We'll see who's taller.''
We both get up from our seats and stand up. We put our back together and see who is taller. Obviously, I'm taller, much taller. I was only trying to make Ciel laugh, I only got a small snicker though.
I can feel his warmth on the back of my body.
''You see, You're taller.'' He says, staying put.
''I guess you're right. I really thought you were taller.''
We both turn around, facing each other.
''I never knew your eyes were red, how unique.'' He says, looking amazed.
''Yes, it is unusual. It was cool when I was little but, it can get old when Claude constantly claims I'm some demon.''
''Claude, your friend, right?''
''Yes, I should have you meet him. He will envy you.''
''Does he also think I'm female?''
''Yes.'' I mumble.
The,out of no where, I hear a burst of laughter escape his mouth. He has tears of laughter streaming down his face. He's laughing so hard, hes gasping for air.
''Is something funny?'' I ask.
''You thought I was a girl for three years! Oh my, I never knew someone could have a relationship with someone and never knew their gender. It's too funny not to laugh.''
Now that I think about it,it is very comical. I start to laugh along with him.
After a few minutes of uncontrollable laughter, we start to settle down.
''I haven't laughed like that in years.'' He says.
''I'm glad I got you to laugh, you have a gorgeous laugh.''
I see a blush form on his pale face.
''Thank you.'' He mumbles.
I have an urge to kiss him, will that make him uncomfortable?
I lean down, to meet his height. I gently place my hand on his cheek. I lean in and place my lips upon his. His lips taste like sweets like, cake.
The kiss ends and I look at Ciel. His face is even redder and he looks ever so embarrassed.
My first kiss was with Ciel, I couldn't be any more beatific.
- Question, does anyone ship Joker and Snake, from Book of circus?
