Chapter 12 The spell of near Death

I hanged the dress back up into the closet and took another hot shower.After the shower I got into shorts and a plain old T shirt.I hear Safire come home and it occurred to me that something was off about Crossfire,why would he come for her know and not before the attack my brother had caused.Safire knocked at the door,I answer it and she enters with tears."What happened,did he do something wrong?"I ask.She shakes her head.She shows me her arms and there was a sight I thought I wouldn't have ever seen again."Its happening I thought he was bluffing it can't be happening."She said.I didn't understand.I touch her arm and she sobs.I would too if I was changing back into a serpent."Safire what did he say to you that night the night he tried to find you?"I ask.She looks at me.Then she shoots her hand to my forhead.I was inside her head or she was showing me her memories.I see her standing in the vacuum across from her husband."Hi Safire."He said with a purr.His eyes made me sick he almost looked like he was sad and was about to apologize.I kept watching,trying to keep my eyes of his."Stay away,I don't want you any more!"She said with a shake in her voice.I could fell her fear and her sorrow.He stepped closer.She stepped back."Were are you,I want you back."He said with a soft voice.I had to look at his face and he was hypnotizing her.She looked away."No,I don't want you or your dark heart."She said angrier."You know whats on your finger,the thing that can never come off,you know what happens if you don't stay with me you will become a full serpent."He said.She shakes her head.He holds out his hand.She takes another step back.He brings his up like he was doing a command and her chest glowed black and it pulled her hard.So hard like he was trying to rip her heart out."No I won't do it,I can't,Your a sico path,Never again."She said.I snapped out of it.She was shaking again.I rub her shoulders again."I have a idea."I state.She looks at me with fear.I knew a few dark spells.An something could stop her from changing.She was my sister and sisters watch out for each other.I pull out some spell books that dad stole from the dark realms and he gave me some light magic books that he had when he was my age."Here it is,its the spell that our uncle did on you,but,there is a counter spell.So we can take the spell away for good."I state with excitment.Her expression brightens."levitation spell."I read.The spell books begin to levitate."From the power of the ancient Phoenix I command you to heal my sister from the serpent curse!"A spell leaves the book and flies towards Safire.Her eyes begin to glow and her dark heart turns to pure light.The Dark spell enters the book again and I collapse to the floor.

I open my eyes and dad and Safire was on the bottom part of my bed.Dad sees me awake."Phoenix your okay."He says with a weak smile.I see Ryan and Crossfire in the corner of the room.Ryan rushes to my side and holds my strong hand.I nod.I try to sit up,but Safire pushes me back down."Phoenix that spell was far to advanced you nearly killed your self."Stated Safire crying.I said I was sorry.Crossfire was flipping a coin in the air and it was landing in his palm."Where is mom?"I ask.Everyone looks down."Where is she?"I ask again."Your mom is captured,your brother decided to get gutsy and steal dear mom."Stated Crossfire.He was really pushing my buttons.I stand up quicker than they could keep me down.I quickly change into my warrior clothes with a snap of my fingers,and I clip on the metal arm bracelet and put a forever lock spell on it.The crest of courage reapplied itself to my left side.I grab my sword and rush to my door.Ryan was by the door frame."I am coming with you,I spent almost all night with you and I am not stoping now."I roll my eyes and I grab his wrist and make a portal and decided to pay big brother a visit.
