A warm hand began to rub my cheek it was soft,smooth.It reminded me of the coils of my evil twin.I woke up with a start.

"Phoenix relax,"dad replied.
As soon as I shot up pain shoots to my bicep probably from rising up to fast,I look up slowly.
I see Ryan and Dad right in front of me.I look at them with relief."How long have I've been out."I ask once again lite headed."A few hours."stated Mom.She steps out from the dark room.I look a dad with disbelief.Did she know him."Mom you didn't tell me that you know dad?"I ask.She looks at me with a worried facial expression."I didn't honey because long ago they found me to care for you."She states."Why."I ask."Because I'm.....I'm your bounded Guardian,"she replies.My mind flushed my adoptive mother knew my birth father,now if you where adopted majority of your adoptive parents don't know who your real parents are,This is totally not normal.I look away from them not believing any word they said."Dad what am I, I am not the ranch girl I thought I was,I'm not the star basketball player I thought I was either,what am I."I ask sadly."My dad walks behind me and puts his hands on my shoulders."Phoenix,your not a what,your a who.Your the princess of The Phoenix Realm,the next eire to the throne,a texan girl,slayer of the dark magic,Daughter of Crystal,bounded immortal and friend."He replied.He made it sound like I was so important,like the worlds greatest hero,my worlds were totally opposite and it seemed like I was the guardian of both worlds.Dad steps back and gives me some air to think about what he just said.Ryan steps behind me and I slowly turn around to face him."Ryan I'm sorry,I'm so sorry,I never meant for any of this to happen.I never meant to drag anyone into this conflict."He gave me a comfort hug.It felt weird being hugged right after being kissed a few times isn't normal,like all parents say.First you hold hands,then hugging,next kissing then the,well,you get the idea."Phoenix the reason I tried to save you is because you are the only badass girl in school."Ryan stated with a faint smile.I could help but chuckle still a little sobbing while I laughed.After he finished hugging me he showed me his forearm and in the middle of his arm was a tattoo.I stare in shock it was my phoenix mark that I earned for free.He basically showed me that I claimed him."Ryan what did you do this?"I ask looking into his hazel eyes."I didn't do it,you did."he replied looking into my eyes.Then I remember when I held his hand at school I wished that he could be protected from dark magic."Excuse me but we have a problem."Mom stated with a hurried tone.Then I remembered its a school day."Ryan I have some clothes for you to change into.Phoenix head upstairs and get changed."I nod at her and bolt upstairs.I scramble around my room to get ready for school and when I grab my bag a box falls out of the closet,I open it and there was a envelope inside with my name on it.I open the letter and the writing was in cursive."Dear Phoenix,I was really glad that you were friends with my daughter and she was so glad to be your friend,I heard you were moving so I wanted to write and tell you that she would rather live forever and barley run with you that depart from you and her family but I could bare to see her suffer so she and you are not together by heart but by life,She wanted to give you this gift for she knew she was going to the world of peace.Sincerely Mrs.Star."The letter made my heart ache the memories of Lily and her sisters made me feel like they where still watching over me.After I put the letter on my desk.I look in the box and I see some of Lilies clothes,she knew I liked traveling so as I dug in the box a cutie outfit showed itself.There was a lite brown under shirt and a tan pair of shorts with side pockets that goes to my mid thighs,and a brown leather jacket ,she always knew my colors and styles.After I slip the outfit on I look at my self in the hallway mirror and for once I looked like I fit in.On the first day of school I wore all black.Before I head downstairs I grab my dog tag with the imprint of a phoenix on it and I head downstairs.Mom was in her room getting ready for work and Ryan was waiting by the door but he was on the phone with his mom or his sister."Mom,Im sorry I didn't tell you I was at a sleepover,yes Im on my way to school,Okay bye."He stated to her harshly.When he turned around his face was priceless,sure he has seen me show more skin(but I was in all orange and I showed my arms,most of my legs and my midsection)."Okay where one earth did you hide my gi......oh.....friend."he stated blushing and smiling while he scratching the back of his head.He really thought of me as his girlfriend,after all I put him through.That gave me a flush of relief.He took my hand and we walked to the bus stop.We waited and waited and waited.Ryan looks at his watch."We have been here for over a hour."He stated worried.My heart skipped a beat.The lord might have done something to the town."Ryan you need to get out of town,It isn't safe for you here."I state looking at the road.When I face him his eyes where totally different,instead of positive and full of light,his eyes where empty and full of darkness he was like a dead eyed zombie and it made me shudder.
