Chapter 19 A old famliy Member

The walls of the tunnels were magic absorbing ones.But I still am resistant to dark negative energy.But the walk made me feel empty inside.Was it a good Idea to visit a evil for the realms past.I didn't know but I was about to find out.Once I exit the caverns there was a bridge that lead all the way to the palace.It was very shaky,but I managed.The bridge almost made me lose my lunch once I took a step off.I keep walking till I come upon doors that were a dark red,almost maroon with black metal designs.Should I knock or just enter.I decided to be polite and knock,but before I do a servant answers the door."We have been expecting you."She said.She guides me inside."Follow me."She said not even looking at me.We walk for a few minutes.She turns into a room."Master you have a visitor,a friend of your brothers."She said.I walk in and for once in my life I was beyond terrifed.
The Shadow Phoenix was a man who looked almost exactly like Dad,but he had blonde hair and Black wings instead of Light."You were a friend of my brother,correct?"He asks.I nod.He continues to stare at me."I am here to,uh,seek help against your son."I said sheepish.His eyes widened."Phoenix?"He asks.I nod.He steps off of his throne,I stand my ground again,instead of killing me,he hugged me.He stepped back and a dark cloud of smoke circled him and his real self showed.He was six foot seven,with eyes of a burning flame and he was wearing blood red armor,he kind of looked like a skeleton with a armor suit on."I am so glad you came,I have been trying to reach you."He said happily."Hows your dad?"He asks.I look down.Avoiding his fire eyes."Oh,what,what happened?"He asked."Ask your son!"I state with anger in my tone.His eyes widened again."What did he do?"He asked."He took a mortals light soul and changed it dark,I traded my life for hers,he set her free,I was about to walk into the portal with him,then dad took my place."I said quickly and simply.Anger flooded into his fire eyes.He took a deep breath and turned around."I told him no messing with mortals,he agreed on his soul."He shouted.I walk closer behind him and touch his shoulder blade.He snaps out of his anger."You said you needed help,stoping my son?"He asked."Yes."I reply."Why are you helping me anyway,you,you hated my dad didn't you?"I ask.He shakes his head."I wasn't always dark,I was but I wasn't.My job was to balance the light within the worlds,and I gave my job to my son,I guess he took it way to seriously."He said.I think for a second."You weren't destroyed long ago,were you?"He shakes his head."Only asleep,watching Safire."He replied."I never meant to hurt her,I,I was forced by my son.He did it just because,since your here to destroy him anyway,I might as well teach my boy a permeant lesson."He said with a smug smile.I nod."Follow me."He said.
He transforms to a black Phoenix with purple eyes.I run and follow him.We enter a cavern with light at the end.As we continue "the follow me game"we stop at the end of the cavern and a treasure was in my veiw."The Phoenix feather of Light and Dark."My uncle said.The feather was a mix of colors,one half was orange,red and yellow,the other black,purple and a dark blue."The story behind it is,only one Phoenix from thousands can unlock its case and absorb its magic,I've tried but failed.If your the Phoenix this with help you."He said putting his hand on my shoulder."I will give you some space to consintrate."He said as he walked away.
