Chapter 24 A new student at the high school

I walk up to Ryan and the rest of the gang and take a heavy sigh."We have to think of a plan,and a good one."I say to them.Ryan nods and crossfire gives a thumbs up.Safire just looks down at the ground.She was still upset about dad."Look,I have a new upgrade and believe me it was worth the tears.We have to save the realm even if I have to sacrifice myself."I state to Safire.She looks up at my face and gasps."No,you can't risk your life for this,you are the one who has to defeat him."She said holding my hand in hers.Crossfire stands up."We can improvise."He said with a smile.An for once Safire gave him a cutting look.He quickly sat back down.For once in my life Crossfire gave me a great idea."We can use illusions to confuse him."I reply looking at Safire.Her eyes widened with horror.Ryan's phone rang."Hello,Amber hold on what is going on,Okay,hang on we will be there asap."He said hanging up the phone.He looks at me and gives a look."Little shadow problem at high school."Ryan said.What was my brother up to now.
We load up into the car and we rushed to the high school as fast as we could.Once we got to the door the school seemed normal,we enter carefully and shadow creatures were everywhere.The other students had no idea what was going on,heck,they had no idea what was around them.They just acted casually like there world wasn't covered in killer shadow creatures.Amber comes down the hall trying to act casual as possible.As soon as she reaches me,Ryan,Safire,and Crossfire she was about to scream.Crossfire covered her mouth and dragged her outside.We follow behind."I can see every single on of those minions of his."She said shouting.She looks at Safire."Your back on your legs?"Asked Amber.She nods with a small smile.Amber rushes over and gives her a hug."Safire you and Amber head back to the hotel,me,Ryan and Crossfire will stay here and take care of this."Safire was about to open her mouth to object.I stop her."Safire he is still after you,and he won't stop until he is buried six feet under."I said to her.She looks down.I take my hands into hers."Its for the best."I state looking into her Safire blue eyes.She gives a small powered nod with her eyes still closed."Crossfire you take them back we will be here waiting on you."I state to him.He nods and grabs both girls's hands and goes through a faerie door.We wait for Crossfire to come back.
He comes back shortly after five minutes or so."What took so long?"Asked Ryan standing."Safire tried begging me to let her come back with me.I told her that Water can't defeat Fire or Shadow fire for that matter,she sighed then Amber started flipping out about Safire having powers to.So,she is showing her some water tricks."He said.I shake my head and walk inside with both boys by my side.As we walk through the halls full of shadows and beasts I fell their aggression,so I transform into my work clothes and I draw my sword and hold it in my right hand.We turn into the hall were all it all started.An a dark portal appeared and I knew that was the way to see The lord of stupidness.I walk through it first and the boys follow.We appeared in the throne room.I look up and the lord was playing croquet with a shadow spirit ball.He looked up and we meet eyes."Welcome,care to play."He asked handing me the club."You think thats very wise."Stated Ryan.He looked at Ryan."Good point."The lord replied.With a snap of his fingers his normal dark haunted clothes appear on his pale body.He gives me a wicked smile.
