Chapter 11 A terrible Prom guest

Everyone except Amber congratulated me on my dance with Ryan.I continued my senior prom with a hope that I for once was normal."I am so glad that I came to prom with you I see know how much Ryan loves you."She said with a sniff.Safire had little to remember when she was on the light side,know she is so sorry for what she did.Even though she had no choice."May I have this dance."Someone familiar said to Safire.Her husband taking her hand.She screamed."Let me go,right now."She screamed.She couldn't escape he was holding her in a iron grip,then again he was part Faerie.Everyone saw what was happening.They cleared a path for me and Ryan.She was yards away from a portal.I had no choice,I was powerless as a normal girl."Power of the Phoenix."Everyone thought it was a play,oh boy,where they wrong.I look around and everyone was sleeping."I figured you would want your friends asleep so they don't know who you are.Your welcome."He said with a devilish smile.He had his hand on her wrist which was pinned in between her shoulder blades and the other one on her mouth.She was tearing up,she didn't want to be dark again.She didn't want him anymore."Thank you for my wife back,she can sometimes get misplaced."He stated.Ryan was tense,I was tense.She looked frightened,I would be too if I was in her shoes."What do you want?"I asked him.He released her arm and uncovered her mouth.She was gasping for air and I realized he wasn't he.My brother would tell me exactly what he wanted,standing my ground,Safire looked at him than at me."Crossfire?"She whispered.He nodded.He morphed into his real self.He was about six foot three,With neon green eyes,and a normal skin tone with brown hair.He bowed and took Safire's hand again,but more gently.He helped her back to her feet.She gave him a hug.She started to sobb."Don't you dare scare the hell out of me again."She yelled into his shoulder.After she was done sobbing I walked over and hit him hard in the shoulder."Ouch,"He stated rubbing the new injury."Phoenix,your,your alive I can't wait to tell the star realm!"He said with a joyful voice.I shake my head and comfort Safire."Who is that guy?"I ask.She looks at him and answers."He is my boyfriend."

"Your boyfriend!"Me and Ryan said at the same time.She nodded."I am Crossfire Prince of the Star Realm and Fiancee of Safire Princess of the Phoenix Realm."He said with another smile."Fiancee?"We said together once again.she nodded."We where already engaged before we where born,we had to combine the realms."Crossfire said.I nod and I look around again and everyone was still asleep."Don't worry i've got it."He said like he knew what I was thinking."An don't worry they know nothing about you."he winked.Ryan scowled.We all agreed to leave and head back to my place only we weren't taking a limo."Hold on."Shouted Crossfire.We were in a portal like I was before and we arrived home in one piece.Me and Ryan sat on the couch he was holding my hand softly the warmth of it made the cold room seem almost empty.Safire and Crossfire were going on a date."Tonight was fun."Ryan said after a while."Yeah it was."I reply."I have something for you."He said.I slowly look at him."You do,Ryan you know you didn't have to,I mean I know we are official but really it just seems a little........."I began.Ryan kissed me on the lips again."That was a really nice way of telling me to shut up."I state.He reached into his pocket and pulled out a box."Close your eyes."He commanded softly in a whisper.I did as I was told.I felt something cold across my skin it felt like a necklace."Open."He said when I did there on my neck was a necklace,It had a gold chain and the charm was a locket with a red,orange and yellow cover that was outlined with gold metal.On the back was a poem."To my heart,that gave me the courage to stand against the darkness."Ryan stated.I gave him a hug and then a quick peek on the cheek.His phone rang and he had to leave.I waved him goodbye and I rushed upstairs to sleep.
