Helfers and Helferins

Stepping down from the war and living under the rule of their land's archon, minor deities would become Helferins. Much like an illuminated yet far more powerful and they would have a seat in the middle court of heavens. Some say even Empyrea herself has Helfer gods working under her, rumoured to be called heavenly envoys of her voice and to enjoy descending on to Circe.

"you really didn't notice?" he asked instead, a smile dawning on his face, though Amara knew it was forced. He laughed, taunting her as he played with his blade. "how dense are you, arcane? Did you really think I was on your side? I was a noble,"

Amara's breath hitched, the distance between them lessening in a pace she disliked. "stop that... I'm not an arcane... and this isn't you"

"oh? and who am I exactly? How do you see me as?" he asked, the point of his blade now against her neck. With a swift and strong slash, he could end her life. "you've already seen it all... seen this little nuisance ruin my plan... you know I'm of the Hirai now, that I work among the emperor's rats... so why do you still linger here? Haven't you already witnessed enough trouble for today?"

He paused, the saddened, distressed look Amara could read off of his face disappearing. Though they were still present in his eyes, a look of frustration painted him instead. "why... are you still acting oblivious in front of me?" his voice deepened. "what? Did you really expect me to kill all the emperor's dogs as a proclamation of love and turn to you to ask if the moon is pretty tonight?"

"stop it" her face flushed though it only amused him.

"hah... if you weren't of the seikatsu and just came willingly, you would be rewarded by the emperor for your attitude towards the empire... but it seems I'll have to persuade you more for that to happen" He lowered his sword, turning around though by the way he did so, Amara knew he would stop her blade if she attacked then. "I used to enjoy your spitfire insults when you get flustered. How you're so alive even when you work for the epitome of all evilness in my kingdom. How your personality would light up my day" he ranted on. "but now your little... attitude is nothing but dross, and it's getting in the way of my plans"

"your plans?" Amara placed her scythe in both her hands.

"hah... although I am amused that you're still here and awake to listen... telling you my plan will just be a waste no? wouldn't it be faster for you to just come with me to meet the emperor and then see it for yourself?" he asked.

"...even if I come with you... the council will end up stopping the emperor and your plans" Amara replied.

"hah... stopping the emperor now would just be a waste of efforts... did they really think.. did you really believe the council could stop the eternal emperor and the immortal goddess's will?" he kept asking but Amara didn't want to answer, as if she would be stuck in a trance if she did so. "did you really think I cared about you? as one of the princes working for the emperor, it's my duty to see the wish of the people fulfilled, that is my first priority... you'll always come last"

"you aren't convincing me to come with you, you know,"

"I'm not asking for your blessing to kidnap you" he laughed. "the time for discussion had passed, if it were up to me I would have skipped that to begin with. But I'm willing to play the role you see me in... either way, it's time for all this trouble to be worth it" he let out a hand. "just come with me and make this less troublesome alright?"

"stop it..."

"This is how I am... you're delusional if you believe otherwise" he lowered his hand. He laughed, shaking his head as he turned to approach her.
