third person.
"hi," mollie spoke up, quickly getting into the passenger side of nicole's car and putting on her seatbelt as nicole gave her a smile, "where are we going?"
"your favourite store," nicole replied, pulling away from the girl's driveway as she looked at her confused.
"i have no money i-"
"i'm paying," she interrupted mollie, glancing at her before letting out a small laugh, "corbyn said you almost finished with that wall so i thought you might need some canvases when it is finished.."
"how much did he tell you?" mollie asked, her fingers fiddling with her rings as nicole sighed.
"i don't think moving in with your mom is the best for you," nicole admitted as mollie turned away from her, "i know she... i know she's there and she's trying but i have a really bad gut feeling about it."
"nic.."
"i just find it weird that whenever you do go see her, you don't answer anyone. last excuse was that you were too busy and this time your phone broke..? no one really knows how it did break." she explained, "i don't know, it just gives me a bad feeling."
mollie remained quiet for the next few moments, her hands intertwined together while her eyes were looking at all the streetlights from just outside of the car, before eventually letting out a small sigh, "my mom broke it."
"she broke your phone?"
"she threw it on the floor," she slowly nodded, "and told me that it's just a phone."
"why'd she do that?" nicole asked.
"i said i needed to text max and let him know i was staying another night," mollie shrugged, "and an argument happened and then she broke my phone and stormed off to her room."
"am i the first person you told?" she looked at mollie, pulling into a parking space outside of the arts store as mollie nodded once more.
