His Hoodie

you pulled on your trainers and waited for Tommy at the door. you heard his thundering steps descending the carpeted stairs and turned to see him walking towards you.

"ready to go?"

"yep, got all my stuff. boots are in my bag"

"cool, lets go then!" he grinned
"MUM! WE'RE GOING NOW!"

you heard a muffled shout say, "okay, stay safe"

he grabbed your arm and dragged you out the door. the cool evening air gushed around you, leaves spinning out of control.

"Jesus it's windy"

"yup, that's why I suggested a hoodie"
he mentioned patronizingly

"oh shut up"

he smirked and carried on walking through the wind.

"see? I'm all warm and cozy, you on the other hand look a little chilly to me"

"that's cuz I fuckin am mate"

"aha, good job I knew this would happen then"
he grinned and pulled out a hoodie from under the soft material of his. he handed it to you still smiling.

"ugh fine I'll wear it. only because it's FREEZING here"

"oh, that's just Britain"

"fair point"

the two of you talked for a while through the dark, getting to know each other a bit. then you stopped outside your house.

"well, this is my house"

"did you enjoy any of what we did today?"
he asked stepping closer to you so you had to look up at him.

"I did, and it wasn't just how good the food was"

he laughed

"I had a good time getting to know you too"

"I'll text you later?"

"Jesus clingy much?"

"oh fuck off, guess you aren't getting a kiss goodbye then"
you said turning your back to him

"aw don't be like that"
he whined

you turned back around and looked up at him again.

"restart this conversation, I'll text you later?"

"yea"
he replied laughing
"yea will do"

"goodnight Mr Innit"

you had to stand on your toes to reach, but you heightened yourself enough to kiss him lightly on the cheek. making his face go pink. what a sight to see.

"goodnight y/n"
he smiled and walked away, but you saw his celebration in the near distance and laughed quietly to yourself.
