you picked up the flowers and the umbrella and pulled tommy into the house.

"mum?"

"yes sweetie? oh hi! you must be tommy! come in, come in!" she ushered them into the kitchen grabbing them both towels to wrap around their shoulders

you gave tommy a look he understood all too well, well,this is my mum

he audibly laughs and your mum spins in a circle,

"what was that dear?" she asked innocently

"oh don't worry" he replied grinning at you

"oh will you be gracing us with your presence this dinner time tommy?" your mum asked politely

"well if im invited then i would love to."

"you should probably let your mum know" you mentioned

"oh yeah, should do that. ill be right back."

he stepped into the next room and shut the door softly behind him.

you heard his phone softly ring through the door and muffled voices.

"so how come tommy turned up at the door?"

"oh he just wanted to give me the flowers" you lied quickly

"aww thats sweet"

"uhm yea! ill go see if he is done.."

"okay sweetie"

you walked into the hallway and he wasn't there. you presumed he went into the lounge. so you opened the door jusy a crack and heard tommy still talking on the phone. you were about to close the door again, when you heard hin say something thay stopped you in your tracks.

"yea i can't believe it worked! thank you so much Nikki i love you!"
