Luke tried hard to keep his eyes off Michael's torso as he cleaned the wound under his neck.

The adrenaline was still high after they were led to safety by the same group that had attacked them.

No one was fatally injured but Luke saw more blood than he wanted to.

Michael and Ashton who were at the front were hit by arrows and cut by blades, Luke only had minor bruises and Calum was above all exhausted.

Ashton's injuries had to be tended by doctors and Calum asked Luke to help Michael with his. Luke wanted to argue because he didn't know how to disinfect the wound without causing Michael pain.

When the wounds were clean, Luke took a balm that was used to ease Calum's pain and applied the smallest amount on Michael's cuts.

At least he wanted to, when Luke turned back to Michael there were no more wounds, no more cuts, not even bruises.

The son of Athena looked at the boy who wrote thank you on a piece of paper.

They joined Ashton and Calum in a bigger room.

The woman who recognized Luke as a demigod on the battlefield was talking to Calum. To her and everyone else's knowledge, Luke was the only heavenly creature in the room. While he did put himself into danger by revealing who he was, he did not want to do the same to his friend.

"Luke," Calum called. "We were just talking about you. If it weren't for you, we'd all probably be dead."

"That's not true," He argued.

"If it weren't for Luke, you'd probably be dead," Aston hissed as his wounds were cleaned.

The woman smiled. Her accent was strong but she now spoke in their language. "I'd like to apologize. We too are only guests in this town but had decided to stay. The villagers are having problems with robbers and criminals and we offered them our protection in exchange for a temporary shelter."

"Why do you need a shelter?" Luke asked.

"We are not welcomed in our home town. And I'd just like to thank you, young god. For understanding our language. You showed a great skill that could be compared to battle skills."

Luke blushed and Michael nudged him and nodded.

"To apologize, we'd want to help you as well. Calum here told me you are on a mission."

Calum's facial expression made Luke realize he didn't tell her everything.

"I am following a prophecy." He told her truthfully before gradually letting out the details. "We need to follow the moon, so we are going north towards the forests."
