Luke and Michael

Lovers.

8 years later

Luke could never get over the feeling of waking up next to Michael.

There were no such things as mornings and evenings in the underworld so when they would wake up there was no rush.

This was his perfect morning ritual with his lover, kissing and making love and then falling asleep again.

Luke could never get over kissing and making love to Michael, either.

"Happy birthday," Luke whispered and pressed a kiss to Michael's sweaty temple.

Michael hummed and smiled. "Is that why you were so good to me, my love?" The son of Hades asked with a grin on his face.

Luke could lie, but they both knew he enjoyed having Michael in his mouth just as much as his lover did.

"Am I not always good to you?"

The smile on Michael's face said it all.

"You're perfect, Luke. Always."

Satisfied with the answer, Luke placed his head on Michael's chest. Falling back asleep to his heartbeat.

It wasn't until a few hours later that they woke up again.

"We'll have to leave soon." Michael woke him up with kisses.

Luke wanted to complain but he knew this was one thing in Michael's life he should not be late too.

Turning twenty-six was the most important day in the life of demi-gods.

While, both Michael and Luke would argue that and list other dates that consisted of their firsts, twenty-six was objectively speaking, the day of his life.

If you did something good or bad in your life, you'd be invited to step in front of the main gods on Olympus.

Neither of Luke's brothers he was close to was invited but Ashton was.

He told them he was scolded for telling his father about Michael, however, Ares defended him. Then people who did badly were punished by either having their power is taken or their parents disowning them. If you did good, you had a chance of asking the gods for something. You could become a hero, you could ask to be loved, forgiven or, in the most extreme cases, you could ask for immortality.

Ashton asked for immortality but his wish was not granted.

The gods praised the battles he won in their name but it wasn't enough.

As his consolation, Ashton asked for more compassion which he would use for mediating reasons. He loved winning wars and battles but what he loved, even more, was peace.

"Do you know what you'll ask for?" Luke asked Michael as he helped him dress.

"Why do you think I'll get the chance to ask for anything?"
