A little Something About This Book

So don't know what brought you here but now that you are here, hope you're doing good and you enjoy your time here :)

So a few weeks ago, actually scratch that, an year ago or maybe even before that, I decided to read the things I've been writing. While I've been writing since I was 12 or 13, something to do with Princess Diaries (I couldn't be a princess, but I could still have a diary, right?!), I rarely ever looked back on what I wrote. It was too stupid, or too embarrassing (even for me, specially me), or maybe I just never wrote with an intention to document things. It became more of an outlet of negative emotions. An escape if you may.

When school finished and I had to go away from home, I took my diary with me hoping to fill in every time I get a chance. Four years have passed since then, the chances have been so few that that diary is still unfinished.
Now, while the diary might still have some pages left, my thoughts still needed a place to stay.
That is how notepad and later Google Docs became their home. The thoughts turned into poems, letters, even stories- they could run free without any worries again!

Over time, these thoughts became more structured, or as structured as they could get, and I could finally look back at them without cringing. When that happened, I started sharing some of my words with a few friends and I guess now, after an year, or years, I am finally ready to share with more than 2 people in my life :')

These writings, honestly, they're nothing extraordinary. In what little life I've lead, I came across a lot of people and a lot of stories and movies. I may or may not have fallen in love too. It's all about that. And more than that. Mostly about that gap between expectations and experiences.

Ps. Heavily inspired by my life but also heavily inspired by the array of Young Adult and Teen fictions I've read on Wattpad and outside of it. Be warned!
