(Sonic's POV)
Hours passed by since Metal took off and dusk was nearby while I was walking around Station Square, which wasn't too far from the neighborhood where my house is located. I glanced around my surroundings at the tall buildings and skyscrapers, which looked like they sparkled a bit in the sunlight.
"Sonic!" Amy squealed as she deliberately tackled me, her arms tightly around my body as I sort of jumped. "I knew Knuckles wasn't serious when he said that nasty robot Metal Sonic killed you, but thank Chaos you're alright!" She said, her grip tightening to the point I felt my bones on the verge of being crushed.
"Amy..." I wheezed, trying hard to push her off.
"Sorry, forgot that I keep doing that." Amy giggled in embarrassment while releasing me.
"It's fine." I rasped. "But what was it that you said about Metal?" I asked her curiously.
"Knuckles kept going on about how Metal attacked him, then you came in and helped that stupid robot out," Amy replied with her arms crossed.
"You've got it all wrong, Knuckles attacked Metal first," I told her.
"Then why didn't you let him fall when you turned him into a Mobian?" Amy questioned me impatiently.
"He's not a bad guy anymore, maybe a bit grumpy like Shadow, but he hasn't tried to kill me ever since," I replied.
"Then where is he?" Amy asked, more like challenging me with how she glared at me.
"I don't know," I replied with a shrug of my shoulders.
"You never invite me to your house, or hardly ever come to mine, and now you're hanging out with one of Eggman's robots?!" Amy exclaimed, slowly taking out her hammer.
Before neither one of us could move, this light blue blur passed by, snatching Amy's hammer as she glanced down at her hands in confusion before we both looked over to see Metal holding her hammer over his shoulder.
"For someone who has a thing for Sonic, you sure do know how to make him run away with his tail between his legs." Metal remarked.
"I do not!" I replied, slightly annoyed, but also grateful for his help.
"Give that back you creep!" Amy yelled as she went to get her hammer back.
Metal only sped away, now standing by me and Amy growled before she tried again. Each time Amy tried to get her hammer back from Metal, he would just move from one place to another as I laughed a little, making sure that they didn't hear me.
"Give it back Metal!" Amy yelled at him angrily.
"How about no." Metal replied with a small grin on his face.
"You're almost as bad as Sonic!" Amy shrieked.
"I do take after him a little." Metal said to her.
"Just gimme my hammer back now!" Amy yelled as she ran at Metal.
Metal stepped out of the way as Amy tripped from stopping too late and she fell over into a puddle. Metal dropped Amy's hammer next to her and took off like nothing happened. I glanced at Amy, seeing her face turning red in anger and I took off back towards my house, refusing to be around her while she's blowing a fuse. Within seconds, I reached my house and went inside, seeing Metal already sitting on the couch.
"Well, that happened." I inquired.
"What the heck was her deal anyway?" Metal asked me.
I glanced away, debating if I should tell him that Amy knows about what happened a few days ago.
